How should i earn gold in diablo 3?

Is a bot farming gold the only way to get gold in this game?
I haven't got any drops yet that can sell for +30mil and i'm paragon lvl 80 ..
Is it possible to flip on the AH? or does people know the prices?
 
u went from 0 to 80 w/o finding anything worth over 30m? if so, i dont believe u. im at 65paragon now, and iv found like 3 items that were worth over 100mil, couple that were worth ~50, and many that were worth 10-20m. I think ur doing something wrong or ur just farming 1h / day
 
I haven't found anything over 30mil yet .. and i've farmed like 12 hours a day..
 
One toon just hit p90, he has a mephto on ah with bids at 260 million 6 hours left. Also at lunch he found another one. That makes 3 so far and he just hit 90. Sold Zuni armor last week for 250 million, You must be doing something wrong. mp-2 act 3 champions.

Holy ....
When i find some legendary/set item it's just max worth 30mil i never get good rolls on it ..
I'm farming act 3 MP0
 
enable combat loot maybe the reason? maybe u pass by very good drop.
 
check in settings, just check the box where you chose MP level in DB
 
Once you hit 90 you should see a big difference. I made 8 million off of Brimstones since Monday. I also am 24/7. Total for 5 bots this week is at 1 Billion. Now If I had somewere to sell the gold for a decent price :-(

What mp lvl are you on? My monk on mp3 rocks. Stash is full every day. Settings @ 82/22/22

Hey d3welty,

Just wondering if you set DB to salvage your stuff? and what kinda ilvl loot pickup setting do you have? I'm at plvl 30 running A3 mp1 with score settings somewhere around yours but I don't get that much loot....probably luck I guess.

well 60 paragon level is 180% MF

and he has 5 bots

Yea, I guess having 5 bots running at a time do bump up your chances in getting a gg items.

I'm curious about what kinda ilvl loots to set DB to pick up. I set mine to pick up only ilvl59+ rings/ammy and ilvl62+ weapons/armor. Not sure if this might be the problem I am not getting good items that are at a lower ilvl.
 
@ 30 I thought the bot was broken. I was only getting about 150,000 an hour. Now @ 90 im getting 450,000 and hour. Trinity scores 82/22/22 Pick-up scores no blues, yellows 61/58/58, sell everything else and manually salvage all Oranges for Brimstone. It is in the increased Magic and gold find.

Thanks for your reply. I shall go ahead and try those setting out to see how it works for me :)
 
I also once aday use trinity to sort my stash by score, then start at the bottom and sell what I dont think is for the ah
 
Isnt act 3 MP 0 the best for item efficiency farming?
 
No I let each toon run 24 hours and check the totals. Then adjust accordingly. I have 2 barbs mp2, 2 Barbs mp1, 1 monk mp3.

So you don't think MP 0 act 3 is the best to farm?
