How safe is BGBuddy these days?

Back in the days where boting was safer, i used to leave my toons two or even three days in a row in BGs. (I used BGBot Beta, what we now call BGBuddy). Now... I'm afraid of the bans. The other day, I set it to run random BGs... 20 minutes later, since i was in the room, i checked out the screen... The toon was in WG, and one of the players was complaining because my toon was "dieing a lot". Suddenly, other player said: "Don't waste your time talking to him. He dies a lot because he's a bot". When I read that, i freaked out and logged out immediately.
Now... The thing is, I need some honor in order to buy some PVP gear. But the problem is, I NEED IT ON MY MAIN ACCOUNT... which i don't want to risk (too much...)
I think i made a mistake in setting it to run random BGs, i should have used only AV, shouldn't I? The problem is that each match takes forever in AV, and besides, Horde always losses... Which leaves me with no honor either way.
So, can you please share your experiences? Have you been using BGBuddy lately? For how long? Which BGs are the most safe?
I will really appreciate any advice on this matter.
 
About as safe as going to Thailand's red light district and having unprotected sex.

With the correct CC and plugins - it can be very effective. I would suggest monitoring the bot and not leaving it unmonitored.
 
It flat out sucks. Only reason I bought this bot, and it worked really well back then. No clue wtf happened.
 
lol, it works pretty well depending on your bgs actually. I'd monitor the first 3bgs and leave it at that. If you're looping too much or staying mounted I'd restart the bot, but aside from that it does what it's suppose to. Find the objectives/kill players, I was doing it on my dk and surprisingly I was killing a lot of people like 11-0 on a couple of bgs...
 
Have they fixed the Not attacking thing in BGbuddy yet? Or is it still mounting around and humping them?
 
the mounting and not attacking isnt fixed for some but idk as i havent had this happen to me but i also only run healers to me i run it for a good bit gearing basicly a full char in honor gear in 1 day with no probs
 
But do you run random BGs or just AV? Because there are BGs with just a few players, like WG... and in these BGs, is very easy to spot a bot...
