Alright so I have been botting for a few months now and have gotten hit with bans before; however I currently have a computer in Boston that I run virtually from PA that has 3x bots running 24/7. My main account I only play on the computer I have at school in a diffrent state, and i xfer items/gold from bots to main via splash top app from Ipad/iphone. What you guys think?? Hard to trace?

many transfers from the same bots 24/7 to a single account.... ban ban ban, probably after the patch. Next time, 50 bots from Alaska to 5 accounts in Japan, 2 in Australia and 1 in Groenlandia... :)

Glad so many people are taking this thread seriously....

AFAIK its impossible for them to ban you for xfering gold to a clean account. Theres to many what if's. Only way they could tell is same IP.

What if you live in apartment building?
What if you live in a dorm?
What if you use internet cafe?

Every jsp sale would be banned showing money from one account going to another etc etc.

99.9999999999% sure they cant ban you. I have been banned before but I used to bot 2 accts and xfer all items/gold to main acct and main acct never got banned with other 2.

Now i dont bot at all anymore or untill I get a new d3 anyway :)
 
Thanks for the legit response goober, i feel alot better now was gonna go out buy another key just to move shit for patch day lol....
 
actually u should do that. blizz always ban mules. confirmed very often.

Incorrect. They can ban you, have you ever heard the catch all phrase "exploitation of the economy"?

Additionally, have you heard the term "trend analysis"?

Not really "confirmed" that often and the majority of the times people on D3 have been banned on their mules so far, at one point I can almost guarantee they touched the account with a bot. I've muled my RMAH money on an account since D3 release (same IP address as all of my bots) and I have yet to receive a ban on that account.
 
yeah seems to me most peeps arnt getting mule bans unless they doing mad shady stuff?
