How risky is Archaeology bot now?

I now a couple years back archy bots reveived a big ban wave. I was wondering if its still an instant ban or is HB archy bot safe? Any comments are appreciated from people with archy bot experience.

I've maxed out the skill and farmed for the pieces on many toons with no ban.
Like any other type of botting, most bans stem from extended unattended monitoring and excessive risky behavior (you are your own judge for the definition of 'excessive').

There is always risk. I hate to close with a corny saying however, there is truth in it: "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen"

many many chars max level 0 ban. I think its very safe.

How bout now since the new expansion is out?

It's definitely not AFKable in Draenor. Especially in Frostfire and Nagrand where there are a lot of hills. The bot will get stuck in a loop going up a hill, digging then going back down the hill, dig again. It only happens in a couple of areas, so as long as you don't leave it unattended for long periods of time and do these areas manually you'll be fine.

In old content is perfect.
