You have 4 bots, start by building your business network (the spider web metaphor by Kick was spot on). Start playing on the realm the majority you're friends are playing on, if you aren't already. You could just tip off that you have some spare gold. Start posting on trading forums. You'll get money in no time :)
 
You can make a significant amount of money if you bot smart and sell your products smart.
Having alot of toons with diverse professions to maximize your bots spoils pays off well.
This is my earnings in June before several of my accounts got hacked which i was unable to recover..
BUT I AM STARTING AGAIn
I boted with a total of 6 accounts with 3 toons on 3 off so the max a toon was on per day was 12 hours.
I botted on low pop servers then sold my goods, bought the most profitable items off the AH and loaded a new toon up with full bags, transfered the toon to a high pop server with the highest $/Gold available.

Well People here will tell you oh yea you make this times that times this....................They dont tell you that you will most like make average 2k-3k a day of gold due to chinese selling stuff cheap cheap........ Make 150$ off each account........Not no 400 or 800.......Thats just pure Hogwash.......Market is Trashed......titanium sells for 80g stack ...........So 8 accounts will make you 1200 month minus 112$ Subscription fees. and 60$ electricity. and 50$ est internet. and baby sit a lot..........But if you have no job sure its worth doing for few extra bucks.

^^^^People like that are also reason why Market went to helll.......They find place that pays the most out of all pages and advertise.

.................. It is.........Quite possible to earn a couple of hundred bucks...........If you have alot of private............. Buyers and a large network.............And also...............Sell on forum boards......... Like other botting sites forums.............MMOwned.............And several more.........Why wouldn't it be possible if you actually have the network/connections for it?

You'll want to have a foundation, a group of private buyers who more or less buys as often they can. And also advertise your services on different forums that allows trading gold and so on.

If you really want to maximize gold income, besides stacking up from GB and farming. You should take a look at a new kind of "bot" that works on the mobile AH and basicly let's you dominate AH. Buy extremely low, sell high, flip prices completely and so on.

Yeah Im a sophmore in Highschool so it isnt bad at all ha. And I have now have 12 bots I bought more today :)

Oh yeah, atleast on EU right now the prices are the worst I have ever seen, you can buy gold for as little as $0.9/k on some servers, BUY GOLD FOR $0.9/K... shit I'm tempted to buy it at that price and resell it later on, but I'm not willing to gamble because quite frankly if cata doesn't rescue the EU reselling scene then It's time to move to another game, either that or find private buyers as I have RL friend's who play wow, but It's never been worse, it actually bring's a tear to my eye, can it really recover from $0.9/k to buy?
I have a ridiculous amount of gold stocked up because I just can't sell, no demand or $0.5/k across all my realms, via 11 resellers...

I was made redundant earlier this year (Anybody living in the UK know's what it's like, such a shit country to live and work in) lost my house and now living with my parents again. so I ended up relying on the money I get from this more, it's just been getting worse and worse with gold prices, I pray to god it fixes itself.
 
Cant be worse than america. Obama has ruined this country and wants to take from the rich and give to the poor. F U obama!
 
well here is how i started:

I got some money together (about 300 bucks)
I bought 4 toons on ebay + gb lifetime.
By then i had no frickin clue how it will work, but i read a lot, got scammed a lot, and learned the hard way.
By now i have 7 accs (5 farming 2 lvling) 2x gb lifetime and i bought a computer just for botting (I have no clue why, but when i moved out and i told my parents about the idea they lent me 600 bucks for further expansion)

Atm 6 farming chars is enough, But still i'm gonna check for cheap ebay deals and lvling toons.
I don't make like a lot of money but its enough. per week its like 100 Euros at the least. It gets better because my private buyer network is expanding every day.
The guy who buys on one server knows a friend who also wants to buy and so on.
On my Mains server i got a farming toon up a week ago and i already sold about 100k to ingame friends / guildmates (Before the toon was 80 i already got the requests and i have sold 40k already.. 60 to go)

Also don't be an ass about ur prices.. for mates i sell at 1.2 euro per k (like 1.6$) and for "normal" private buyers I charge 1.5EUR = 1.9-2$
Simple problem for me as that atm i have private buyers on 2 servers but not on the other 4 xD.. so there i get a EUR max from chinese.

Anyways hope i could help with my experience
 
I also sell to private customers, but right now i can't compete with chinese websites (some of them are selling for 1,8€ /k). I don't know what to do, i've got like 320k in stock in my guild bank, and i'm not sure if it's better to wait for cata or just "play safe" and try to sell them now that i can get like 2€/k. I'm afraid that on cata golds are going to be very friggin' cheap!

Any advice?
 
you should just sell that and make more. i sold my whole 500k stash when patch 4.0 hit at $2.5/1k a few weeks ago and now I've farmed back most of it. people have a tendency to get lazy to farm when they have a big stash sitting around. cash money is king.

this is a pretty thorough thread to the potentials and pitfalls of gold selling in today's less than ideal RMT market for WOW.

Just don't forget the biggest expense of all in terms of money and time --- levelling up again after your bot accounts get banned once you start selling gold. you can sell to the chinese, to private buyers, to the mongolians, to the martians to make that cash money but eventually your account(s) will get banned so prepare yourself mentally and financially for that and if you can still come out profitable then goldselling is for you.
