How many hours a day do you bot?

Im only 2 hrs a day using Randombuddy and gathersafe plugins. I will ramp it up a bit though Im pretty cautious.

I bot probably around 4 hours a day. This ranges from using Kick's for getting my money making up and going, to profession buddy (always trying new profiles and seeing what I like), to fishing for the darkmoon faire (all on my n00b accounts) to even botting on my main (completely watched and monitored by me). If I bot on my main it is a little bit of rep farming, maybe some dailies, 30 minutes a day max for farming herbs/minerals, some rare mount runs, but all in all ive never looked all that suspicious, if I get stuck within 0.5 of a second I fix it, which is faster than I would if I was playing without botting because I wouldnt be paying attention.

I do not care to lose my main, but will take extra measures so I dont have to lose it.

As long as you look natural, your account looks natural, your characters look natural, your botting behavior is as close to human level as possible, there is no need to worry. So if you are worried, time is not a big deal, they have players that play from 0-15 hours a day! Just make it all play like you would, and be able to monitor it here and there to reduce the time of your bot running wild.

To the people with such extensive botting schedules what are you using? I'm of the opinion that GB is just asking for an LCP ban and I'm not sure of what else you could bot for such a long time. Maybe fishing?

I did fishing on one of my accounts for a bit, if you can get the fish sold then you are golden! However botting for hours on end as a fisher is at least a tiny bit....er...fishy.. haha
I can at most only fish for about half an hour before I start going in and out of the twilight zone so I doubt botting fishing as little interactions as you have with others would look legit for more than an hour or two. Also if you are fishing most likely you will be in one of the standard places around other regular fishers, they can easily attest and see you fishing.. forever.. and ever.. and will most likely get a few reports at least from that. Everything should be taken in moderation, you can farm mine/herb for a bit, do some fishing for a bit, farm greens and D/E, run dungeons, whatever you want to do. The longer you stick to one task the higher the chance of being banned, so mix it up a bit! 99% of wow players most likely wont stick to the same task day in day out for weeks, so act like you are actually playing the account.

Duel monitors ftw.. Bot on main screen netflix on the other, sometimes I switch it up depending if people are online etc..

I have three monitors so I have bots on one video playing on 2 and surfing the web on three I agree its pretty nice. Where you bot so long do you switch toons and profiles a lot? Have u gotten banned for it before?

id say im around 12hrs a day. only way I'll go over is with a farm account which would be 16hrs.

I only bot on one account, so I try to stay safe and only bot "casually", as in not doing it every single day of the week and keep to around 10-12 hours per day (I go higher occasionally but then I take a break day after). Never been banned for botting.

I don't switch toons, I just be social with it, reply to whispers, respond in the guild chat etc. Been on the bot for 3 years, no bans no warnings. An I could get another monitor also but.. meh lol, don't wanna look like a super nerd.. when people come over they are already saying "Damn man, two monitors? the hell?" lol


Edit: By switching back an forth I meant monitors, depending on the activity of my surroundings/guild.

Never go AFK when you Bot. I lost my main account doing that for days at a time. The only time I bot now is on accounts I don't care about (never my main account). And as always....

i do GB2 for 2 hours a day.(1k gold/day) full on paranoid plugins. 100% supervised (basically). private profiles

questing as long as i can, like 2-4 hours tops. 100% supervised

and the rest of the time its just tyrael. interupts off.

last and only time i was banned was in early cata. got greedy farming battlegrounds for honor. player report, most likely.
