How many D3 clients you running on i5 2500k/3570k?

Meh after 5x D3 folders I got around 7gb left on my 128gb ssd lol. Guess I need to pick up a 256gb ssd on Black Friday as well.

Running 3 in vmware and 1 on host.
i5 2500k (not overclocked), 16gb RAM, cpu usage is around 80%, but RAM is all busy and sometimes throws warnings on host machine. Each VM has 2.5gb RAM.
Thinking of changing cpu to i7 3770k. I think it might allow me to cut RAM to 1.5-2gb per VM.

Well I got 5 bots doing act 3 champs now. My i5 3570k stock doing 45-70% with spikes of 70-81% usage. 16gb memory around 58% usage stable. GTX 670 FTW 20-25% usage with up to 40% spikes.

How are some of your cpu usages so low?

I have i5 3570k @ 4.3

running 3 clients, 3 demonbuddies, monitoring real temp, and with firefox open to browse forums... my CPU fluxuates between 55-65% with spikes to mid-high 80's! 8gb ram always at 80% as well. Idk how to monitor my gtx570.

I use EVGA OC Scanner for GPU usage, you can download it for free.

my box is different. hard to say.

I use SRX with dual e5-2687w 96gb corsair platinum. I barely see it go above 10% load using isboxer with 6 monitor setup.

sorry forgot to put how many bots which would put it in context. I run about 4 teams of 4. so 16 bots

I can try testing on 3930k which more of what you guys are talking about. Though I use it for work so I have to do it on the weekend

For the less computer savvy folk, are you saying dual processors? As in 2 of those ~$1800 processors? Wtf. I am so out of the loop. Also 'mirin your financial situation.

no. I talking about dual socket processors. Its a EVGA high end board that supports 2 Xeon processors. The processors I run is 8 cores with 16 threads each.. so that 16 cores and 32 threads. I like to turn off H-threading tho I use it for calculations sometimes.

they are no longer in that price range however, close to 2000 if you are lucky. 1800 is like 4 or 5 months ago. which was a great steal for me.
