Hey guys, I'm just wondering how many bots I will need running for me to make a decent amount of money! give me your thoughts and why!
 
under 10 bots
pro bot skill
all professions
2 -3 Ah bots
several servers
and alot of time
and a gold buyer with ~0.6$/1k g
 
All of which I have except the AH bots, I use gatherit's auctioneer profile that farms herbs then goes and list them on the AH. Either that or I have it send herbs to my inscriptionist who makes shoulder enchants then vendors them and I have a private buyer for my uncommon ink :)
 
have a decent/ good computer.
up to 6 bots.

just keep leveling accounts non-stop
do leveling services.
buy accounts, level toons.
sell on ebay. ect
 
is it worth the pain to level a toon from 80 - 90 and sell on ebay ? ... with pvp gear ? or what?

80 to 85 takes about 5 hours a level
85 to 87 takes about 10 hours a level
88 to 89 takes 12 hours
89 to 90 takes 14 hours.

Chinese people charge like 120$ for that.
 
ya ... but is anyone buying the leveling service? .. or is anyone bying the account from ebay ? is it worth it ? or you make accounts and wait 1 month to sell a ~100$ account on ebay ?

I suspect neither. It IS just a fact in the botting world that 90% of the people buying/selling gold/accounts for the money are chinese :)
Or at least that amount of the people i have dealt with are ;)
 
It could be done with less than 10 accounts spread over multiple servers.

I would say if you had 6 accounts it would be doable, of course the more automation you used the easier it would be.
 
Depends what your accounts will be running. Also, do you think there is more room for profit power leveling characters and selling level 90's etc?
Anyway besides that question I bet you could make $1,000 a month by running 3 or 4. I imagine when you have everything perfectly set-up with very profitable bots running and buyers ready to buy which could take weeks to finally get down you can see $1,000 a month. Although for you it'd probably take much less time since your very good at this. I'm using one of your profiles right now :D. Test out a system for a week or a few days and do the math.

well...tbh you need like 6-9 cuz...
6 farming, 3 crafting and manual AH/selling
private/selfmade profiles, 6 farming DK/Pala/Druid, multiple inscription/JC, and enchanter

but you should know ~$1k/month is like 2-2500k gold, so like 84k/day, or 3.5k/h
good luck with that

Have one account with all crafters on each realm that way your farmers can run all the time you want them to and crafting doesn't take that long so have them craft and post on AH, switch realms, repeat. Ultimately it comes down to how your making gold. If you got a secret way with a secret profile that's super secret and no one is doing it and your making 10k/hr on one bot... Well then.
 
Right now I'm having my guys send all their herbs to my enchanter/inscriptionist to make shoulder enchants for vendor :)

cant do more than 15-20k/bot/day :(
 
1 month, 1 account, 4 characters, 25 auctions per toon a a day (100 total). I took a couple days off here and there as well. But that's my earnings from the month of November below. I've been selling 100k/$150 and giving a % free on the side depending on the amount purchased. I had a couple 20k's and 40k's though. Nothing edited below either for the ones that want to "troll" me and what not. I'm not bragging either. I use this as a side job. Extra money is always good when you have a wife and son! hahah. So it's probably possible to make about 1k a month if I botted every day.

Where the hell do you find a buyer insane enough to buy 100k for $150. Heck where the hell do you find a buyer to buy 100k for $80 or better yet $70!?

High Pop PVP servers only. Never sell gold on pve servers. Also 100k is going for $127 right now, but it fluctuates constantly between $127 - $150. I sell at $150, guildies I'll give up to 15% free, randies 10% or below for free.

Best gold sell prices are always on high pop pvp servers.
