How many bots are you running ?
Are you running them in VMs ?

I'm running 4 bots on my MSI GT72S 6QE not in VMs

3. Just run them normally, i dont like VMs, they take up too much RAM and CPU.
I want to get a 4th but too busy and addition bot gonna take more time to set up/ babysit

I'm just curious, why would one bot multiple accounts?
Is it toward selling the accounts for profit (if so, how profitable is this), is it for accounts for friends plus your own, are they all personal accounts (if so, how do you remain motivated enough in each to stay so invested), or finally are they different characters you need to multibox to further progression (if so, is one still considered a main account you care for more)?

Further progression and characters variation. Its fun to try different build and it takes too much work to get every build into 1 single account

As mentioned virtual machine is not needed. There is no benefit.

Impressive to see 4 bots running on a laptop, do they run 30+ ticks per second still?

It has got to be a little tough with screen real estate.

I do have a question, are you doing it jacked into a CAT5/WiFi or does it work on a hotspot for you? I would like to take my bots traveling with me.

Generally speaking, it's not that much more effort to run multiple accounts. When you first start an account or season, there is a lot of character management and gear refinement to tackle as you get all the necessary pieces for your build. After that, you setup ItemList to only pickup limited items. You get to the point where there is less than 50-100 item's it will pickup and only keep if they have perfect rolls. At this point, the bot is running on autopilot for days at a time trying to get paragons and maximize GRifts.

Enter the second, third or fourth account. Now you have something else to gear and monitor, which is a ton of fun. You can also learn other class meta concurrently.

It also gives you 4 chances to see how fast you can get geared/leveled and start pulling the other 3 as leeches. Progression comes faster. Higher GRifts come faster. Loot sharing. Faster paragons.

Perhaps my favorite part this season: I am running one class per account so far. That means all my stash tabs on that account are for that one class. While I have made multiple characters on each account, they match the original character's class. On the backup characters, I have started building sets for non-endgame to run the mastery dungeons. I also have some test LoN builds going.

Multiple accounts - so much win.

5 bots can go without any issue on this new laptop.

They all run at 80 FPS

Network connexion is WIFI

30 ticks / second ? where can i see this ?

I am running a TitanX and was wondering how overpowered it was for botting. I guess this answers my question... lol!

Ticks Per Second:
It is in the bottom left corner of the main page of DB, it's underneath Gold/EXP/Deaths/Games per hour.

You can set the higher TPS in Trinity:
Trinity > Advanced > TPS set to max.

My understanding is that the more ticks, the more decisions the bot can make per second, the more intelligent it runs. Mine stay pretty much locked at 30.

Im running 10 Accounts on 5960x 4,5ghz 32gb ram

*claps*

Well played, sir.

Why not 8 or 12? I guess you must have some running solo or in 2 man and interchange characters as your group play deems necessary?

I am currently running 4 using YAR and simplefollow, however i get crashes alot and YAR does not know how to detect the crash exceptions; in order to close them and reload the bot. But if i run 4 in there own game, the crash is minimal. I would suggest running more than 12gb of ram for this, because im running the i7 quad core processor and its does no damage to it; usually 1-5 % CPU usage, but my 12 gb of ram hit around 90% usage all the time.

Feels kinda weird to know that Blizzard employees are reading this forum and looking at our threads.

I have been using AutoFollow to prevent this, but when there is a crash, it's about 20% of the time properly recognized by YAR. Part of it might be the removal of the Kickstart settings to get the current version working. You should report issues in the YAR thread as ToNyX even asked for a list of everything that is an issue with it.

AutoFollow doesn't do follower combat as well as SimpleFollow though.

When has this ever not been the case? It is a public forum, I bet you there are even people who work at Blizzard who might make use of bots for their personal accounts.

That's why it's so important to not post gametags, account names, etc here.

I havent used the new YAR, because i cut out the coinage on the old update and recompiled it to get it working. Didnt know there was a new version out there.

Jubisman had fixed it up a little while ago and removed the KickStart code from it that was causing issues.

There still appears to be some issues with the build and things like SimpleFollow and AutoFollow but it works well for me most of the time.

You guys seem like the right people to ask this question:

Not to hijack this thread but can anyone point me in the direction of a faq or guide about loot sharing? I don't feel like pausing the bots every hour to sort gear and trade im sure its been automated at this point.

I went ahead and got another 3 licenses to test out multi botting. Seems to run decently well using auto follow but if it doesn't loot share I don't see a need for it as if I need more xp ill just run 4 man with a group of real people.

much appreciated.
