(I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong section)

Well I was thinking about upgrading to 6 sessions, however I'm not sure how well my PC will handle this, so thought I'd post my system info and see what people think?

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7500 @2.93GHz
RAM: 4.00GB
Running windows x64
Graphics card: Nvidia GEforce GT 220

Thanks for replies in advance, and again I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section

Turn your WoW graphics all the way down, including the lowest resolution you can still see it, turn on windowed mode and make the screen sizes small enough so you can still see however many you are running.

On those specs, following my advice, I'd say you could run at least 4.

On my similar system, I used to multibox 4 WoWs with one on normal graphics, with 2GB of RAM instead of the 4GB you have.

There are programs and i believe plugins that hide your wow client should help ease gpu ussage

i have a crappy laptop that is about exactly 1/2 of all your specs.
I can run 3, i'm using an external monitor so i don't have to use the built in display, runs smoother and the comp doesn't get as hot.
Though, i d/c all the time, probably due to my internet though.

Ok then thanks a lot for the replies, think I'll get some more money together then upgrade to a total of 6...thanks:)

4-6

Get gamebooster to lower your ram usage.

Aslong as your doing nothing else you will beable to run 4 minimum 6 max. The RAM is holding you back here though, upgrade to 8gb and you will be fine to go upto 8-10

I don't get how using an external monitor changes anything. You're still using GPU power to display your graphics. The only thing you suggest that makes sense is your laptop LCD causing heat, which isn't the cause of lag.

i would say 3.. and it would probably lag alittle with that..

Nah, i run 3 off one of my computers and i still have ram spare.

I have the same CPU but less ram on this PC, i get 40fps with a 9500GT 512mb with 3 wow's open. i could push it to 4 but i use it for other things like msn facebook e.t.c
