currently im running 3 bots without any issue, my current setup for this pc is:

First Setup:
Intel I7 930 @2.8GHz (could OC to 3.5 easily)
6GB 1600ram
GeForce GTX 470
SSD for Operation system
2TB HD

I want to know is this PC able to run 6 bots +

Also I have a second setup for gaming use:
Intel I7 [email protected] (could OC to 4.5+ under water cooling)
16GB 1600Ram
128G SSD
2TB HD
AMD 7850 2GZ

how many bots could my second setup do?

Thanks guy...

im sure you could probably get 4 running on the top pc.

i dont see why the specs under it wouldnt be able to handle the 6. but then again im not an expert.

Thanks for the quick reply, im currently running 3 bots with the top pc and thinking to buy more bots to make it 6 and try to run all 6 under one pc to save power consumption

With 6gb ram only 3-4 max. Upgrade the ram and you should be able to get up to 6, however your computer will probably not be able to be gamed on at the same time, you should be able to watch movies/listen to music/browse still though.

This one can handle 7-10, depends on VRAM on your gpu.. For a comparison my setup;

Intel i5-2500k 4.5Ghz
16GB 1600Mhz 9CL RAM
GTX580
128GB SSD

I'm running 7 bots atm without problems + a WoW bot, however my VRAM is 90% in use, so not much space left for gaming or more bots.

nice info! thx for sharing... look like ram is most important hardware for botting.... i might just go upgrade the ram for the first pc and left the second one for pc gaming or other stuff, since ram upgrade is quit cheap nowaday.

btw, u r right, i just check my PC performance, when my first pc running 3 bots, i used 5.2G ram out of 6, so i dont really have any space left for more bot, upgrade ram definally the way to go

Yea, I remember having 4 running on 8GB and my browser would close due to lack of RAM. bought 8GB more for like 60usd and good to go now :)

A general rule of thumb is to use 1 Diablo - 1.5gb ram. I'm not sure on how much video ram each one consumes, can anyone enlighten me?

1.5 gb is for VMware (that includes emulated OS).
If you run multiple instances on the same machine diablo uses <1gb

anyone know does 1600 ram or 1333 make any big different for botting?

the faster the ram the better, but the motherboard needs to support it.

Not a big difference. 1% performance or so as long as they are low latency, which they usually are when they are 1333mhz.

NOTE: buy same ram as you have right now, dont mix up sticks with different vendors or you might experience problems.

Wrong. At startup d3 takes 500-800mb yes, but after hrs of running it will cache up data and get up to around 1.2gb VMware or not.

only 1% performance different? then its not really matter i guess... i just check my motherboard, it only got 3 slots for ram and i used all for 3 x 2GB 1600 ram now, so i guess i should just get 2 x 8 or 3 x 8GB if I want to run more bots

I run 5 bots on 6GB RAM, but it's always at 90+% load and they need to be restarted every 5-10hours to avoid massive lags. I'll get some more RAM when I order my new PC.

absolute lovely i hope to try wat u guys do one day
and see if i can relax abit on my work
