How long do you bot at a time?

Just curious as to how long most people safely bot at a time. Personally, I do 5-8 hours per session, and then give it at least 12 hours before I start it back up again.

2-3 hours, then I usually disconnect, and gotta re-login, but all up? probably 8 hours easy.

i start it when i go to bed. make my com auto shut off 10 hours later. i wake up 12 hours later, playing rift for maybe 2 hours, starting bot again..

I only bot when I can be next to my computer. At work usually 7-8 hours, and I do check /shout /say and all that make sure there's no people around me or talking to me.

It is my personal opinion that no one should bot, unless they will immediately be able to answer tells or people questioning you. If you set bot and go to sleep, chances are you will probably get away with it BUT it's also the easiest way to earn a ban.

I botted overnight for 8 hours just to try it out with a 1 day trial but it got stuck on one of those huge plants of a life rift someone randomly opened in front of me. I think the devs should make it so that the bot would change direction 180 degrees because obviously trying to jump it wouldn't work.

Btw Rolean, how many hours of botting and what's your level?

Only been running bot for about 4 days now, lvl 29. I had some issues in between though with vendoring not working, etc. so I had a lot of downtime on the first days.

I have one account that I run nearly nonstop. Fuck em if they can't take a joke, imo.///// I play by hand on it here and there doing dailies and a few quests but for the most part it is just on autopilot. I would say around 20h a day. Never attended.

I have another account I have never botted on once, have not even had the RoM client open at the same time. And I have one I have opened the client with rift running, but never botted. It's just a little experiment I'm doing... =)
