How is DH for botting Torment + HC? If not what class would you suggest?

At the moment I'm running expert perfectly fine. I do not use anything great, but I do have a high rolled calamity. My dps can handle torment 1 pretty alright, no insta kills, but pretty close. Problem is, is the hits I CAN'T take. I have about 8.5 mil toughness, 1k all resist, 550k life, and there are times when playing torment solo, that I know for sure the bot WOULD die, considering you have to expect the bot to accidently roll into a bad situation. So my question is this, is it possible for DH to safely run on torment + difficulty? Or am I going to have to stick to hard - master? My bot uses sentries, along with 3x pets, and the merc, so in those difficulties, even with bad luck, (screen freezing, minimizing, etc,) I know that I won't die. Ty!

M6 physical or fire setup, 2x unity. T5 is easily doable, T6 probably quite easy with almost perfect rolls.

For some time, you should stick to Master and hope to get some random legendaries until you have enough toughness for T1, to eneable you to find Marauder's set (until then, your only hope for that is Kadala).
IMO, if you aim to get legendaries (and not gold or exp) you shouldn't bother botting any torment above 3, especially on HC.

Currently Do not bot HC at any difficulty higher then you could survive with out the bot running...(ie you can out regen the DMG by just standing there).

Until they have fixed the authentication servers.. Although things are looking up we are at 27h:13m:30 Seconds of uptime(at the time of the post).. Before they couldn't keep it up 5 hours.

Botting Ghom with the poison immune amulet works well if you have it, as there is next to no way ghom can kill you on T6- he will eventually kill him self even with a little thorn dmg...Although you will prob DC before you kill him.. The main thing is you wont be dead..

After the servers are up and running again,

Botting DH with the Unity + Follower cobo is pretty dam good.. I can farm with the BOT doing rifts/bounties on T4 with ZERO hassle. MY DH is on 1.5mill dmg with 4.8 mill toughness (this is doubled with unity combo) nothing really special with gear (not my main bot) got 6 set dh gear and nice bow that's about it.

if you rely on demonbuddy to keep you alive, you will eventually die
it has no situational awareness so if theres any doubt about survivability for you, you will die sooner or later

I do have the poison immune amulet and will definitely try this. As to relying on the bot to keep me alive, that's my point. I was wondering if it's possible to gear/skill up well enough to where even with bad luck, or the bot crashing, you could survive simply by pets, turrets, or merc. Or at least assume that you just run into some bad champs, and still survive ok.

To try and better explain, can T3 with amazing gear, feel like normal does with average gear? As far as damage and survability goes? Ty!

Minus the word current I agree with this.
to be 100% safe(and if your 99% safe you will die in a matter of days/weeks), your pets would have to be able to solo ghom. if you can port in, stand still and use 0 abilities, then your good to go. otherwise, there is definite risk.

t3 absolutely can feel like normal, but you need immunity to be safe, heres what happened to me. I had a monk with toughness 15 mill and close to 990k dps with soj. an almost perfect shard. was 2 shotting elites. went from t1-t2. t2 killed him overnight. full blackthornes, countess amulet, still managed to die vs 2 elites. after having that happen to me, i have no problem botting t1 even when my wd's pets are 2 shotting bounty bosses. dont be greedy and bot as safe as you can. just remember if your botting torment be happy and dont push anything difficulty wise unless you 100% immune IE maras vs ghom

Buddy.
I've been farming Bounties ACT 1 @ T4 ~ Like 10 hous not a single death.
I use Marauder 6 piece.
Then, after I reach like 600 rift keys, I farm Rifts @ T6.

I don't farm bounties on T6 because for some reason it gives lower experience.
