How does Pirox compare?

exactly! i game to gb in october timeframe ... and gb rocked then, and hb was still in beta! they both have come a long way since then. Pirox has been around for 3? years

here we go:

Pirox has been around for years, so has a lot of things done for it in that timeframe.
GB/HB are new, it currently has a big future ahead of it.
Just gotta let it grow, expand and with time i suspect most of the features you list will be in the HB/GB features list in future.

If the devs puts the same amount of work into the bot, as they've done till now. HB/GB would def be the best public bot out there.
 
You can say what you want... but if you like scripting your own advanced profiles, then pirox is the way to go.
If you want a 1-push-to-go bot, then go HB/GB.

HB/GB: easyer to setup. and is very reliable if you dont wanna use alot of time on creating profiles.

Pirox: flyes way more natural (ex. it dosent go straight in the air when it is done farming like GB does <- and that looks very bottish) and you can make more advanced stuff ( just look at bg farming with pirox, way ahead of HB)

I also have Pirox but HB/GB is much much better.. there's lotsof config to do first with pirox while you can only press [start] on HB/GB if you have loaded the correct profile
 
there was a big tiff on mmowned about pirox storing your account info recently. Was considering trying that before HB/GB, but the site was down for like a month lol
 
pirox will gather information if you try and hack the server/program and use it for free

Yeah, there was code in there that would upload your username/password to Pirox if you had a non-legit cdkey or cracked the app. Granted, cracking it is wrong, but stealing someone's account info is worse.

I created so much hate.
Thing is a cracker would 100% see that code and just remove it or comment it... Or send other things instead of account info.
Imo HB is the better public bot you can get.
About gb well it works is lightweight , compact well its fine could be implemented more things but is not a priority imo.

The fact that ever even considered it okay to do anything with your username and password is just plain wrong and destroys 100% of their creditability.

I don't care if PiroxBot was 10x better than glider was at its peak, they've lost any possible trust from me.

Good intentions or not, this is NEVER okay. There should no reason that your username/password is even accessible to them. EVER
 
For ease of setup and use hb is better, but for doing bgs as long as you take the time to set up pirox right it is better then hb.

Pirox will switch between multiple bg profiles every time you die, so your not running the same path all the time, also at least with a warrior pirox is lightning fast, where hb in bgs feels slow and looks way more bot like.

I use both hb and pirox because they both offer different features, but at this time I think pirox is better overall, but only if you take the time to set it up.

I helped with some killer druid macros for Pirox. My druid would play better by itself than by me in the end :) It was a certain kind of fun trying to figure out how to make the perfect macros and sequences to make the bot look awesome. HB is easier but i miss the control over the character a bit. Maybe a i will learn some c# and write a class, if i find time.

Oh, re logger, people. We need it, we will love it.
 
I have both products, both lifetime (aka premium equivelent). Both have their plus and minus.
Today 50% of my bots use pirox and the other 50% GB2/HB2.
Six months ago it was 5% pirox 95% HB2.
But i'm predicting 6months from now it will be pirox 95% and HB2 5% - if HB2 continues to have bad CC's, glitchy releases, and no support for jumping from profile to profile which pirox supports.

At this point all my bots only do one thing , FARM. And whats important to me is that they are able to jump from profile to profile after spending 10hours in one spot (say uldum) then jumping to another (vashj'ir) - to reduce getting reported.

What kept me coming back to HB2, was that i didn't have to hasle with macros and settings, it was plug and play. But if the bot can't do what i want it to do, like selling AuctionHouse items while farming all in one profile then i slowly keep moving my bots towards pirox (and no eauctions is glitchy and doesn't support customization of auctioneer/tsm addons).

On the positive side, the consumer wins, go towards whoever this year is performing the best for botting :) - if you have accounts on both bots, you win!

The bot can do *anything* you want it to but you would have to learn how to code and implement it yourself. I know what your saying though. It would be nice to have more stuff integrated into the bot itself. Like an AHbot that buys low and sells high. Which can be done with PB...to an extent. Farming...easy enough. Just farm till your bags are full and fly to your AH and sell. Or mail to an alt. Or smelt then mail or sell. All of which is possible if not easy ;)

I do wholeheartedly agree with your 2nd point though :D
