how does honorbuddy protect against warden?

so if warden cant detect hb or gb how do people get caught?
The question is wrong because they can, but haven't tried it yet.
Also, tripwire has never saved a bot so far, yet a lot of bots with a tripwire had banwaves. Blizzard works around them and has done so many times.
Which is why none should bot if they cant accept a ban on his/her account.

1) Bot Moderators/owner Will not Tell you Flaws in the system because they want more money. ( ALL Companies work this way even Charity Groups )
2) No one but Blizzard knows how Exactly Warden Works.
3)All Recent bans is not Detection What so ever. Or we all would be banned.
4)when blizzard prepairs for banwave they will Do it so Tripwire will not Save us

^^^^^^True statements regardless of what anyone says ^_^

and with so many False Alarms with tripwire i am worried that it doesnt even work.

I Am not a Computer Expert nor a gb/hb expert. This is just my personal opinion

From all that I have seen, most bans are from reports.

These reports then come because most of the time, not all the time.

  • People will see your/the bot running stupidly into trees, walls, off cliffs and so forth.
  • Poor mob managment (running straight at fel reaver when your toon is level 58), and so forth.
  • See your ah toon on the ah all day every day, just selling selling selling, when there is not that ammount of materials available to the normal person. (I had a buddy that did not bot, but he had 3 chinese farmers that he baught from daily and was banned)
  • Seeing someone in the same place killing the same mobs for hours on end, or seeing them logged on for 24/7. (they can just add you to friends list to see how often you are logged on)
  • You have then when someone posts hundreds of the same mats on the ah in stupid bulk ammounts.
You then have automated bans.

  • Though I am not sure but I also believe if you have posted x ammount of y mat to many times in a manor that a normal person could not get that much with out using a bot, on to the ah.
  • Third party software detection, not just bots, but hacks fall under this also.
  • Sharing accounts
  • Selling/buying gold.
  • Selling/buying accounts.

You then have things where a gm could be watching you.

  • From player reports.
  • You opened a ticket and they went to talk with you. (Something you should not be doing from a bot account)

For the tripwire, yes it can save stuff. But at the same time warden can still do dmg till it goes into effect. So with this said, yes warden can change and then ban hundreds if not thousands that are on. But those that are currently not on, when they go to log on and are not able to log into hb/gb can be saved. Though in theroy it will turn both off from allowing people to log onto there bots, and kick all those online with them offline from the hb/gb service.

Nice post, I may have to save this in my list of copy/paste replies :P

I think Apoc knows more about Warden than Wardendev :o

You mean he thinks he knows more than warden dev lol.

What i have learned about internet is people always assume they are So smart. If they where So Smart. they wouldnt be here on a botting forum lol They would be working for Blizzard or some high paid computer job.

When Warden Leaks to people. Blizzard knows. Warden is only important the day before a Banwave ;) So copys of Warden people have and "think" they know how it works. Doesnt help. Blizzard is not Retarded.

You give them too much credit.

Well if anyone here was any better they would be working for blizzard aswell lol thats the way i think of it

yup, i agree with ski. I spend a lot of time giving punkbuster the boot...and they were hell-bent on taking out hackers/cheaters(warden seems to be much less active).
Yet, the hackers always had a very quick answer to the updates(punkbuster is way more intrusive than warden).
Why do you(watcha413) think, those companies employ hackers...? To learn from THEM.

I don't know this, so I proably shouldn't speak, but I'll do so anyway.
I think that the developers spend an assload of time (I think some of them work full-time) developing this bot, so I seriously doubt they would work for Blizzard too.

I don't know how the protection works, neither do I know how warden scans are detected, but I am confident that the bot-developers know what they are doing.

well im sure if blizzard offered them a job they would take it ;) Hell of a lot more money to be made working for blizzard than working on a bot lol

If Botting Made LOADS of cash wouldnt you think all those Pro's Would be making bots ? there would be a lot more than there is now if bots made That much money IMO

FPS bot and a MMO Bot are 2 completely different things.

They Let bots Pass because in a MMO money is to be made.

FPS there is no money so the game company says fuck you and doesnt let Bots in lol

bottom line is. Game companys Get something out of Bots. So they do not Want to get rid of them. But if they ever did want to get rid of all bots. They can and will

Actually, unless I'm mistaken but he (Apoc) can easily correct that himself, he'd rather leave the warden stuff to Cyphor/Kynox.

Granted they probably know more, Apoc is definitely not far behind.

No offense but how would you know? Blizzard is a company owned by Activision, a corporation. And not a smart one at that. Corporations don't just throw money around. I would be willing to wager that most of the core developers at Blizzard make sub 6 figures. Maybe a few make over. But corporations always keep their overhead low.

So to be honest, you could make a lot more money with HB then working for Blizzard.
