How does Blizzard determine if botting?

Other than reports from players - how can Blizzard monitor your character or character's history? They can check play time, can they see what you've completed? Can they see code of literally what you have done? Do they have programs that determine if the moves you made seem pre determined?

okay it's a good idea to try and figure these things out, but everything anyone thinks they know about the process is from speculation. No one knows for certain how blizzard detects you. everyone has their own theories but no one really knows

Obviously yes they have records they can look back on but exactly what they look for who knows
