Hi!
It's awesome that HB/GB is updated so regularly and all, but i was just wondering how you guys manage your Honorbuddy when theres a new update like every other day?

Currently when i find there has been a new update i download the updated HB again.. extract to a new directory again... copy all plugins/cc/profiles to that directory AGAIN... starts HB, makes all my settings AGAIN... :)

Even tho i dont mind sitting by the computer, tbh this method seems kind of antique.

Is the Settings folder movable between different versions? (with stability and functionality of new versions still intact)

Could you not handle the releases on a more streamlined way, like GIT or similar?

Do you have any other tips for me, please share them!

Thanks, really!

Or implement an updater in HB that automaticly updates when there's a new version. :P

I use a base folder where I keep all of my profiles, the mesh folder, etc. Then when a new HB releases, I extract it into a new folder in that base directory, copy my plugins, and settings folder then go.. Sometimes CC's, depending if one breaks between releases

yeah that is basically my procedure too, its ok a few times but gets annoying after a while, especially when doing this on 2 computers.

I've tried to load HB from a network drive (on my server) HB seems to work kind of good, but when trying IB it pulls some error (cant get in to details at the moment) but i guess its because of loading DLL's from network drive etc.. or is there a workaround?
If i can load HB from network i only have to manage one install.

I should store a copy of plugins/ccs separately, but havn't atm. I have a base Honorbuddy folder, and within that a Profiles folder with all my profiles organised, and each new release I unzip into the Honorbuddy base folder, such that I have a history of them all under it (i.e., after the last release I have: F:\Games\HonorBuddy\Honorbuddy 2.0.0.4075 as my current working folder). Atm I just copy the CCs I know aren't default from the previous version into the new version, and likewise any plugins, but it would probably be a bit better to have a CC and Plugins folder in the base Honorbuddy folder and download them to there then copy into the working folder, so any new release I can just grab them from there right away.
