How do you avoid the banhammer/ pro botters critique pls

Hoping to share my angles, and get some ideas from others.

1) don't use your main account

2) all mats are inserted in a level 25 guild that I own, this guild is filled with casual players picked up by using sgi, the laundering tabs are only viewable by those involved in the process.

3) have a friend or my main access these mats to list on the ah or to sell to bulk buyer. Neither account has farmed a node in months. (he is rewarded with 10-15% of sales).

4) a portion of the mats are used to fill guild tabs with pots/flasks/gems, much like a normal guild would.

5) use sgi on your bot toon. Inviting 200 people a night to your guild looks a little more legit.

6) Only bot 2-4 hours a night, this is more than enough to support a legitimate players spending compulsions.

7) diversify your business. Processing the materials is a good way to keep of the radar. People are much less likely to pay attention to the player listing gems than the guy with 100 stacks of ore on the ah.

Trust me you'll get banned pretty fast using gb2 just for 2-4 hours a day.

For using gb2 atm there are no good options or advises you should follow since you'll get banned regardless of them.

People will report you for competing against you with large ammount of gems etc basically ah isn't safe either expect ur 5 dollar account to be banned eventually.

I don't think I am a pro botter seeing as I run no account currently but I do have a 50 key license for hb and I was expecting to make use of that before the banning began.

dont use gatherbuddy for farming and bgbuddy just quest do pve raiding manually with bot and movement self do arena bg self with the bot let the bot cast and u move questing automaticly for 10 12 hours a day should be fine i only lvl my profession for my main with gatherbuddy but the profiles i made self. ive made my own guild i have a few accounts and one main with all classes on ally and horde where i raid arena rbg on etc also stop some times for 30minutes til 1 hour then relog in staying in a game for 12 hours long without taking a break is not possible also.

All good points. I would add that flying under the radar as best as possible is important. But player reports is not enough to get you banned, but it is enough to kick in things to start investigating you and if you are botting in ways that they can tell/detect or otherwise surmise that you are a bot (or even 99% sure you are), then you will get a ban.
Use countermeasures. It is war and those who are very good with their proactive countermeasures are going to outlive those who do not:
VS Players:
1) Stay off the "highway routes" for gathering. Yes NPH drops but so do reports. Stop doing 200 miles and hour down the highways on your bot. Hitting those levels can upset real players (or other botters) who might report you even if you are not a bot. They have nothing to lose.
2) Do not flood the AH with your cheap mats. Seriously, what do you think your competition is thinking when this is happening? That you mined all that ore you are dumping because you enjoy making 60% profit while you slave away manually mining? Nope. They think you are botting and they report you.
3) Diversify your mats. Botters tend to be lazy. So they get so much raw mats from mining/herbs and they think "screw it, I will just dump all this, I am not gonna process all this and shuffle these mats and waste my time!" - again...wrong idea. Shuffle everything. I recommend you NEVER sell raw mats on the AH. Process them and sell the processed mats slowly.
4) Use every single anti-player countermeasure built into HB, log out if followed and all that. Players are your biggest fear as a botter.

Now do you think Blizzard pays those GMs to investigate EVERY single botter report? Among 8 million players? Realistically, if they manually investigated every single botter report issued by players, they would bankrupt themselves, GMs are real humans, collecting real salaries and every single investigation could take what 5 minutes? 10 minutes? If even .001 of all players issued a "bot report" in a month, that would be 8000 reports. even at 10 minutes a report for investigation, that would account for over 1300 hours of GM time invested into those reports and assuming a GM makes $10 an hour with another $5 per hour overhead company cost as well, $20,000 in a month spent on "bot reports" of which 75% would be false. And those numbers are estimated super low. The reality would be much much higher. So they would need quantifiers to reports. Perhaps they would not investigate until multiple reports are issued or perhaps every report has other factors that now get checked and if enough of these other quantifiers hit, then it gets sent to a GM. Such as NPH. Perhaps LCP detection gets turned on when a player is reported (my theory) and if the LCP threshold is passed by a rating of 2 or higher, then a GM is sent the report to investigate.

VS Detection Systems:
1) Again, stay off the known highways with your profiles.
2) Keep NPH reasonable.
3) Keep hours spent gathering more reasonable.
4) Use sweep zone methods and profiles, not uber route profiles.
5) Use LCP counter measures.
6) Avoid repetition of behavior and repetition of routes etc.
7) Do NOT use Public profiles! I do not care what anyone says, never use them. Either write your own or get someone to custom make them for you.
8) Make sure your Profiles are good and actually fairly problem free. Spend time watching those Profiles in action, look for things you should Blackspot, edit them to get rid of problems.

Lastly, if you don't know what you are doing...learn and then do it. Blind ignorance of things will only get you so far.

im happy with 17 18k evry 6 days on my few accounts i make like 60 70 80k evry 6 days with the classes that i lvl im not greedy to use gatherbuddy that mutch and then buy new accounts again i only use gb2 for my own profession on my main classes where i raid on with hb and arena rbg the people that are greedy wil get bans quicker in the pass i was a greedy guy to and got me a few times banned not by detection but by being stupid and using public profiles i just use gatherbuddy with my own profiles to make mats and what the my raid guils needs i farm on another account the mats.
