How do you afford more than 1 WoW

Like, I guess im low on funds from rent bills etc. I couldnt imagine paying another $80 bucks then monthly fees for more WoW accts. Do you all work good jobs or what? Is there somewhere you go to get it cheaper. Just wondering.
 
i forgot the name of the site youll have to google it. But there used to be a site that would trade battle chest n what not for gold. N the way i look at it if you want to bot more then one account your doing it to make money so the only thing you should do it buy the first wow account and from then on wow should pay for itself. hope i helped a little.
 
Battlechests for gold huh. That sounds pretty good. So most people sell gold to keep up there accounts? I thought if you sold gold you're pretty much gonna get banned.
 
Theres like 50 threads on how to sell. But yes your account will get banned which is why you sell from a vanilla account not your farming account. To sell gold you should be making enough gold n selling that you can afford to get a vanilla or 2 banned a month.
 
Yes ive read those threads. Most come to the conclusion to just not sell gold. Which is why I was wondering. Just seems like more work than play imo. But I can see how younger guys/girls can actually make spending money off of a game doing something they love doing. Props on them.

Just got out of the military back to Iowa. Most jobs worth getting wont hire because of no openings/experience. Had to pick up a job that wasnt min wage and pays the bills for now.
 
i know people who invested $200 into wow n hb/gb n are making around $500 a month. I mean that's not even close to as large as a scale as say bossland and his 1,000,001 bots but its extra cash in the pocket.
 
i have 14 accounts, for personnel use only, i never sell gold, iv sold two accounts before but meh. im not sure if what i get payed from my job is good or not but i work 4 12 hour shifts a week for $2600
 
Ya, I work a 40hr a week job 7:30-4pm. But its not like im making 20 bucks a hour. Im pretty happy atm with dual monitor set up so i can have the bot doing its thing on 1 while playing bf2 on other. Sometimes though I just want to play WoW bot the bot needs to do its thing and lvl me.
 
right now i have bought 2 accts to cata, and 30 days HB - i have 2 85s farming and have sold 18$ worth of gold. as of right now i am still in the hole and almost a month into botting. will be selling 100k later this week to pay for 4 months game time, then using money from paycheck to buy life time of HB. which will put me down another 85$ usd - so all in all, first month will be a neg. for money making.
 
I had 2 accounts prior to buying HB because WoW got pretty boring and when I learned I could run 2 WoW clients at the same time I did it just because I liked the challenge. Also a good way to get friends to want to play when they could have a taste of the game and then give me a free month for joining up :)
Now I just like writing simple profiles and watching the bot pass/fail or having the bot level me cause it gets boring after the first 3 times you max level.

I'm wondering what kind of fancy job silver has to be netting 2600 a week for 48hrs of work...
 
Damn you work at a Power plant or something. To sum it up selling gold is extra cash if u want it never make it your job. There's to many unknowns about the future of wow so it's not a long term dependable income
 
I suggest a steady job because making money with botting is not stable.
 
Most my friends dont like playing computer games at all. My cousin used to play a lot. He stopped cause he says its to noob now and boring. W/e. I like botting only because I can't stand lvling anymore. But when im 85 I would want another acct lvling more chars as I will probably get bored with the one im playing.
 
I have found slot of people don't like leveling but want to just get a already pretty geared toon on a account. I used to lvl a character to 80 in wotlk and transfer it to a different account n sell the account with raid gear n like 25k gold. Found that to work out pretty well was selling accounts.
 
for me its a hobby, whether you are doing R/C cars, or Models or whatever your going to spend money on your hobby.

If you do not mind having to move, i can give you some information on positions with the Railroad. We love to hire ex military personal, and the worse the economy gets, the more people ship by train. So we have been unaffected by the economic downturn. Actually, freight is up and business is booming..

But it's always a plus when your hobby makes a little cash back :) I actually came to a point where I had more fun making a profile and seeing it run smooth then see 100k gold in the bank
