How deep do you think Blizzard is on this website?

You do understand they are professionals getting paid for their work, have a team behind them taking care of botters and just don't care about this small little botter next to them trying to sell gold to chinese, while they have a job with health care and pension.

They'd probably just ban your face from Blizzcon, or not be terribly impressed.

Yeah health care and pension don't make me laugh.

I think Hawker himself is a lowlevel GM. Responcible for Bad language reports and stuff like that.
Bossland is a level higher. He may restore Items already. But both want more in their main job at blizzard. So a cvouple of years ago, they had the plan to write a bot, bann a massive amount of players, and get an own office with an own chair.
It didn't work out so well. There are sometimes some bans, but nothing serious. So Hawker still copies his premade warnings to bad mouth players, and Bossland still restores crappy 496er epics.
At least they have a nice side income from HB now.
Of course they may not admit that i speak the truth. Whistleblower GM's will be punished with a 72h bann for their GM account. But believe me. TRUE STORY!

Thats something thats also bothering me.
For sure they look whats up in this forum, but why aren't they much more successful in banning bots?

I'm no programmer but I'm working with a software development team, and I think it would be possible to look after certain characteristics what makes a bot.
For example I would have a look at kicks 1-90 profile write down every quest that it does and this would be the first indicator. People that have only done exactly these quests will be flagged.
Then I would monitor these players. While farming, do they exactly pass a spot multiple times? (hotspots) So if a player passes the exact same spot x times in a hour his "is it a bot" rating will rise.
Does it spam keys 43932499times in 1 second? And so on, there could be a lot of charateristics.
Then just go if 5 out of 10 characteristics are true -> ban

it may seems easy on paper,
but you would rather let go 100 suspicious bot than ban one innocent gamer

Agreed.

Please also read how Blizzard tried to sue Bossland (aka HB) in Germany and lost their ass. The German court system told Blizzard to take a hike. As I recall Blizzard had a small win in that HB couldn't be sold in Germany. Bossland filed a counter suit for lost revenue from German players and won 600K Euro (approximately $1m USD). German players were forced into using alternative solutions.

I went from 1 account to 5 monthly subscription accounts because of HB. Blizzard should be thanking HB for my increased subscriptions/revenue.

Ah so thats how it all ended, is there details of the case around?
I followed it when i was still active, and it must have been resolved during my hiatus.
I was around for Blizzard stopping sales in Germany but that was it.

One day, thats my dream, i will go to blizzcon (livin in germany), hoping to get into a small talk or something with some of the blizzard staff. Talking to them abt their great game and shit and just as a sidenote telling that in the moment i am talking to them, i have 10 bots at home etc. Just curious what they would act like when someone would tell them straight to the face that they bot and enjoy it. Sadly i wont ever be able to make that dream come true.

Pretty easy:

"O rly? Thanks for the 120€/month feggit"

I'm pretty sure they won't give a single fuck.

You haven't heard anything more because the information he posted is completely false. HB is currently losing the case against blizzard and is in appeals.

You can read about the case there.

.

This information is completely false and is actually the opposite of what's happening with the case right now.

You can read more about it here:

I believe Kicks profiles follow the Zygor guide, so that would not be a great way to find people to ban?
