I have a barb with following stats:

68k HP
800 all res
2.2k LoH
46k DPS
300% crit dmg
and yet i die 5-6 times /run?
how is this possible, i see people with crappy gear doing 0-1 deaths?

lol i have 10.5k armor , 2h axe and 500 LoH and still own almost all, yes i die sporadicly on some crap elite like sucubus jailer or fire ones , 450 all ress.
srsly want to own a3 ? stop run with shield and get dmg ! i have 100k dmg buffed.

buffed dps is around 100k

the gear was around 20m together , apart of the weapons which i bought for 60m what i think is cheap like hell.

gl with 450 all res after the impunity nerf.
 
yeah i know that impunity will be nerfed , i have some better items for all ress, like bracers, ring, amulet in stash, and until 1.05 i will be 100 paragon and then i can change gear and farm on ML3-4 with extra MF and GF.
 
I got 2death/hour in rend-revenge build in act2, i got 37deaths in act3...

We require more info, like weapons and skills. Half@ss posts like this wont help you.

2x1h or 2h? - if either, youll need heck more damage, the point is the melt the mobs down as quickly as possible so you wont take hits.

If its 1h+shield then your doing something wrong. You need more all res, with a shield i see no issue getting to 1k, 900 is good enough and let paragons increase the rest. your dps is fine if thats unbuffed, otherwise you need more. > 70k buffed.

If you use rend, youll need LS, rend sweeps only proc 1 loh (iirc), either ways 700% of any % ls greatly increases sustainability, score 3%+.

The rest of the stats look solid, id say you have too much HP, sacrifice some HP for more AR & damage would be better.

I assume your using the typical rend build.

Something's not right here:

Sword and board WW barb using the standard WW spec from Giles Trinity thread
54K dps
Resists from 508 to 558
1K LOH
2.8% Life Steal
31K hps
44 crit chance
283 crit damage
8K armor
28% block
9K health globe bonus
(all unbuffed)
and my deaths per hour only runs (according to the Giles trinity summary) from a low of 0.5 per hour to around 2 per hour.

Agree with Joe though, if you are running 2H or duel wielding you're gonna need a lot more damage.

I agree, LoH isn't as useful as LS for 2h rend. With his stats, he would be better off in SnB.
 
That Skorn you have is ok, but there is no life steal. You should try and find one with 5% at least, 6% would be better, big bucks there. Also get a 3% LS belt as well. You really need more AR as well. 1000+
 
either low armor high dps (but in my opionion 100+ dps barbar isn't as efficient as wd or wz), or high denfence 900+ ar, 11k armor around 30k dps
 
my tw bot, one wd 150k dps buffed, and barbar 900+ ar and 11k armor; both yield results of 1~2 deathes maximum
 
Dont listen to the noobs, you have good ar and armor but you need alot more DPS. Kill faster survive better. Ar and Armor wont help u with things u die from in D3. Its pure dps that helps.
