HotSpots- In which order are they used?

When i made my noblegarden egg profile i wondered how honorbuddy chooses the next hotspots it will go to.
I have set up a couple of hotspots in my eggs.xml
Will they be used in the order i entered them or will HB choose one by random or will it use the next one that is closest to the players position?

From what I heard it uses a random hot spot.
Might need to wait for clarification on my answer but it sounds correct as you never really follow the same paths.
