Hotkey for Combat Toggle/Pause Bug

Date the bug occured (please be as specific as possible, eg; Weds, 12th of October, at 5:36 AM EST) Monday, 11th of February, at 1:55pm CST


Please explain, in as much detail as possible, what the bug is. (The more detail, the better) If your report has no information, or we can't determine what you're talking about, the bug will be ignored. Please be concise with your report.

When using the CC's hotkey to toggle combat on or off, a single press results in multiple toggles with a random outcome, which, most of the time, requires multiple presses in order to acquire the desired on or off.


Please explain any steps to reproduce this bug. If the bug is not reproducible, we may not be able to fix it.

Set hotkey in Custom Class settings to desired key. Start Honorbuddy and go into combat. Once in combat, press combat toggle hotkey attempting to pause combat.




Please list all plugins currently enabled (as well as links to any plugins not packaged with HB by default)

Zero plugins enabled.


Which Custom Class are you using? Please include the version, and link if applicable.

Can someone please confirm that it's not just me that's experiencing this issue? I would really like for this problem to go away...soooo so frustrating!

CLU does not use the internal Hotkey function, i can't replicate the behavior with CLU
Atm there is no update planned for CLU within the next 2 weeks, the next planned update will come with 5.2 (class-updates to patch 5.2, merge of working purerotation fightlogics to clu, update to the current built in hotkey-method of HB)
Wulf has not the time for that and i'm busy too, sorry for that.

CLU uses a total different method compared to Singular / PureRotation ... CLU uses keypress event AND timespan a key is pressed, it has his own key manager and doesn't use built in features, so this shouldn't happen with CLU

Thanks, Storm. I understand CLU's keybind function a lot better now, and you're right- CLU's rotation pause works just fine. Hopefully, the next HB update will fix this internal hotkey issue since you plan on switching over. Thanks again.
