[HotA Barb] My setup - effectively farming GR57 30-40 billion xp/h

hota build imo just seems tankier than WW. Of course the build is geared towards "botting" which is why the poster put emphasis on a few key defensive passives and gems. WW gets a lot of damage mitigation from WW, but the bot isnt really reliable to be continuously WWing. Hota u can just spank and tank which is more efficient.

Been running this for a few days now and it's amazing, good xp and it's actually quite fun to watch the bot yolosmash his way through grifts
I have one problem though, and it's Mallet Lords. They smash my poor barb so hard that all these sub 35% (or whatever it is) damage reductions doesn't even matter, she just falls over.
I have pretty good gear, p882, my stats are just a tinytiny bit lower as Bamse's (no lpfs on belt tho) and I have the settings/gems/passives mentioned in the main post.
I'm running 53s atm, and while Mallet Lords is pretty mych the only thing that kills me, it runs pretty smooth. I want to go 54/55, but at that point mallet lords just 2shots me and then it's pretty much game over.
Any1 else have this problem? Solutions? Would be nice if the bot could just lolnope and run away from Mallet Lords instead of dying all the time.

Mallet lords is a bitch, hate those myself, but I dont really have any solution to this. Are you using taeguk for more toughness aswell?
I'd atleast enchant LPFS on belt or just go with the passive so u atleast have ~1000 of it.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I'm using Taeguk + the plugin to keep my stacks up the majority of the rift. I'll ty re-enchanting my gear a bit (need to get a backup belt and helm!) so I can get lpfs on my belt.

Edit: Wow I feel like an idiot for skipping that lpfs now, just watched the bot face a pack of blue illusionist Mallet Lords and she tanked them like a boss. Maby i'll try 55s now! :O

I know that it is probably daft question , but which profile do you use ? I`m new in D3 botting and it is a bit strange for me. I have all required items for that build but don`t know what should i do to get it running . Thx in advance, if you or any other botter could help me please PM here on forum.

and why is it only using Furious Charge and not HotA

used my old preseason warrior crafted gear and rolled it -> grift 45 in 5min or t10 normal (have to try higher grifts)

i got two questions if you don´t mind

which +dmg affix should be taken (or should it be none / lowest prio?)
which item might be a good alternative for the hellfire amu, and which passiv should then not be taken.

edit: just paragon 600 / lvl 30 gems since i havent played in season 1/2/3

using same specs given other than range of packs set up to 50. but instead of hota im just using my pushing WW build and its clearing faster to RG with the RG being a slight drop in speeds (given this at 50s). can bump the GRs up to 55s most likely but 50 seems to be optimal just for speed runs for xp. over all not getting stuck as much and clearing is (depending on mobs) faster than hota given that the hota set up gets stuck/stands around for 4-5 seconds and then dies alot. so if you're not liking hota just use a pushing WW build with a ignore pain belt, unity in cube and follower and youll be fine.

Only 10% from paragon points... you dont need CDR as HotA tho The IK set bonus gives u cd back on WoTB and CoA.

For +damage you want fire damage, I only have this on my bracers (the smash rune on HotA causes it do do fire dmg)
Any item with good stats, crit dmg, crit chance and strength + socket, if ur lucky get one with fire/arcane immunity I guess.

I'm just gonna make a wild guess here and say that you havn't equipped your Esoteric Alteration gem yet, mine is lvl 68 and it grants me about 13M toughness, and you really need that gem for botting 50+ without many issues/deaths. And if that's not the case then you just have to work on your gear i guess

use adventurer, there you can select the level, but you have to unlock the levels in diablo.

you get addition levels unlocked based on the time you have left when you completed the grift.

i.e. when you have 1 of 15min left -> +2 (i.e. 20 was max -> 22)
when you have 10 of 15min left +8 -> 20.>28

you can just access adventurer settings when your logged in with the charakter you want to use AND the bot is not running or paused. (p.s. you just need adventurer + trinity + (maybe armory 1.4 for gambeling / spending shards))
