now im using a shadowpriest - my own cc, only casting shadow-word pain then "DEAD" running to it, looting it, throwing a yellow leaf on the ground
then sprinting to next mob :)

now a days.. hats only sells for 2k my server soo, and parrot cage hyacinth macaw for 4-5k... miss old days :)
 
hey great profile, ran this for about 3 and a half hrs until i got dced while i was asleep, got first parrot in 41 mins of farming and second around 2 and a half hrs in according to my addon rarity.
 
Gonna run tihs for 4h straight, will edit awnser after i've seen what i've gotten! :)

22:47 running it for about 3 - 4 hours, nothing yet, though i've noticed that it only kills 1 mob then loots him and runs to next,

If i'm not wrong it's a plugin you need for this, eLoot perhaps?.

Will be letting this go for about 7 more hours, will reply back then.

09:08 . Managed to get 1 hatchling, though nothing else except a huge amount of cloth's and greenies! :p

I had the same problem, but i started to use a meele class, like DK.
Never had the problem after, but try a plugin and Im sure it will be better :)

What does "loots per hour" means in your first post ? Number of items or number of mobs looted ? Because with 240 mobs per hour, your probability to drop the parrot is only 58% after 12 hours (based on wowhead stats: 0.03% for 300k occurences). But the profile seems very interesting (if not overfarmed) because:

My realm stats (EU-High pop):
-Hat: 5k
-Razzashi Hatchling: 5-6k atm on my serveur with a good demand
-Parrot: price varying too much and demand very low. it's about 15k horde region but only 4k on my server
-Silk cloth; 40g per stack (high demand)
-Wool cloth: 40g per stack (medium demand)
-Green/disenchant

So will give it a try this week end.

Anyway you could make this for alliance as well? I tried going in and changing the vendor to an alliance one with the coords and everything but it didnt seem to work. Not sure how to do that exactly. Would highly appreciate it.

i can do that later :)
if not, you just open the profile, delete the vendor, open the bot - developer tools, target your vendor and refresh, it will come in the bot screen,
you can copy that and paste in the profile :p

Hey man so with the alliance What do I do. Just delete the vendor and not have 1 for example or... Lets say I want to farm for a few hours will I be okay?
 
made over 60k from this bot within 5 days LOL its awesome! and the macaw only sells for 4k on my server

<Mob Name="Ana'thek the Cruel" Entry="43024" />
</AvoidMobs>

as I found my character was getting stuck on the cave above him trying to shoot through the roof.

Otherwise works well, cheers :)

Thank you for that piece of info, I too noticed it getting stuck at the cave sometimes. Also, I ran this for 2 hours and no luck, decided to start it up again for 20 min and BAM! damn bird was right there in my inventory! This profile works pretty decent, GL!
 
Hi thanks for profile. The Wildvine sells for over 90gold on my server but silk and wool cloth only about 15g per 20stack! I had to edit out the cave that someone mentioned previously but other than that this is the only profile for the parrot that actually works! THANKS:cool: p.s. Over 1000 loots per hour with my Holy priest!

How the heck do i black list Ana'thek the Cruel.:mad: My toon just stands on top of the cave forever! I noticed he has a different entry # (1059) So i edited that into the .xml but grindbot still just sits there on top of the cave with Ana'thek the Cruel targeted. It's like its not recognizing the edited .xml Anyone else having this problem? pls respond! Thank you in advance for any advice!

Open the profile and add this Blackspot under "Blackspots":

// => Should avoid the cave.

Edit: Still got some problem. I think you have to add the AvoidMobs code outside of the GrindArea code, Blackspots aswell. (testing it right now, will respond later :) )

Edit2: works - i upload my modified Version, if the threadstarter got a problem with it => i will remove it.
