Honorbuddy wont start/closes after trying to login

Hi,

Haven't been using HB for a long time. Wanted to try it out today but once I login with my key, the UI pops up which says "Logging in..." but after a few seconds it just closes. I'm on Windows 10.

Any ideas?

It has nothing to do with HB. You need to change the WoW client to use DX9. You can do this in the Client Settings.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I'm getting the same issue on my desktop, login is fine on my laptop. Not sure if my problem is related to this post. Tried DX9 and DX11, fresh install.

Stupid me, I wasn't running in windowed mode.. It's working now, thanks alot!

Question: can I use DX11 instead of DX9?

If it works you can for sure use DX11. Whatever works best DX9 or DX11 you can use.
