Hello i saw on the bossland site that bossland must give 250000 dollars to blizzard if not then honorbuddy will close in germany my question: bossland will give the 250000 dollars to blizzard or not?

now a nother question just in german because i dont know how to say it in english.

wenn Bossland die 250000 dollars zahlt wird der bot f?r immer weitergef?hrt oder nur f?r 1 jahr zb

I thought it was 650k euro and that Blizzard must pay Bossland, not the other way around. Wasn't it?

blizzard has to pay 650k. but not to bossland. they have to pay to the curt. if they pay, bossland has to stop HB for GERMANY ONLY. why has blizz to pay? cos bossland could go to a higher court (and i think they will) if the higher court decides for bossland, blizzard would have to pay to bossland the money they lost, while they wasn't able to sell their product in germany. thats where the 650k are for.

Lol. Lots of false informations here.
To clarify it: Everyone here is wrong:

Blizzard must not pay Bossland anything.
Bossland must not pay Blizzard anything.

Blizzard has to pay 650k to the court(!) for safety reasons.
If blizzard pays it, Bossland is no longer allowed to sell if in Germany.

Why is that? Because bossland will for sure loose money if they are no longer allowed to sell it in germany.
If Blizzard will win the case, they get the money back from the court.
If Bossland wins, his loosed money from sales @ germany will be calculated and he gets the money from blizzard.
To make sure that Blizzard owns the money, they give it to the court.

Makes sense? :D

I think the step up in security they have put in place to catch botters and hackers in this new ninja patch is a sign they are trying other methods to stop people instead of paying. But who knows. We will see.

i bought this and then i must know that the bot will stop if blizzard pays to bossland 650k euros i love honorbuddy and i hope that will not happen :(

Chances are that if you already bought the bot, you'd still be allowed to use it even if sales will be prohibited in Germany.

what are you all worrying about?

1. before any action takes place blizzard has to pay 650.000? to the court as a safety investment regarding costs for the trial
2. they did not pay yet, so HB still sells
3. Bossland will move to the highest german court at the end auf august
4. the excerpts in the document are just ridiculous. bet there were sort of 70+ aged judges with no idea what they are judging or what the case really is about
5. bossland is not allowed to SELL THE BOT IN GERMANY, nothing said about shutting the auth servers and stuff offline for current used bots among us as they do not really win anything based on lifetime one-time-paid-fees
6. yet they are still allowed to sell it everywhere in the world and as this is the best bot around they shouldn't run out of money
7. they still have other bots to sell to get money and keep servers online
8. no word about shutting the servers down completely and i doubt the court will be able to make them do it as they would ruin a world wide business, not just germany. in that case they might even move to the highest european community court. when it comes to that point i think trialing would not be cost-effective for blizzard anymore and they'll probably stop and let the botters live like they want to.

but heres comes the best (irony):

9. in a few years we get our own botservers but can interact with "living people" to share the experience of raiding and stuff when we are really online but not our bots. thanks to shared servers, instances and stuff :cool::cool:

Point 5 is not correct.
They aren't allowed to distribute the bot anymore, which includes selling and supporting, which means mesh files and updates aren't obtainable too.

That doesn't make it much harder to use, BUT I just wanted to clarify that stuff still changes a bit for current customers.
