Not having above issue. Just use the honorbuddy exe instead of honorbuddy launcher exe
 
So, I tried to update it through the bot itself like I usually do and got a very strange error I've never seen before. Its not appearing in my logs. So I'll just submit this picture. It happens at Step 2 of 5. I'm just going to do a fresh install but I figured I should report this strange issue to the devs.

Updater won't be able to complete the update process." Then is goes on to list a bunch of file directories and says that "The specific path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters." I'm just going to do a fresh install but I figured I should report this strange issue to the devs.

Yeah i think it may be just down to it needing a fresh install :-)

if you have someones profiles, some of their names can be too long. cut and paste your profiles folder out and delete it and try it now.
 
1. Only english in this thread please
2. It's a TEST RELEASE so if you do not want to test and expect a stable release this one is not for you
3. Auth servers are totally busy atm. because of all people trying to connect. Give it some time :)
4. Don't expect 3rd Party Routines/Addons or older Profiles to work if the author did not check with the latest stable release and confirms
5. If you find a bug please report it here with a brief description and ATTACH a logfile (not copy&paste please!)

If you want to test the latest test release please install it in a new folder WITHOUT any 3rd Party stuff installed except your are the author and want to make it work with the latest HB release of course
Install this test release in a NEW directory. Do not update your old HB or install the .zip files over your old installation. Simply use a fresh folder ;)
 
Fresh install worked for 12 of my toons, since yesterday's beta release.
No addon, no pluggin, just singular and beta original folder.

Be patient for a stable release and continue to bot, a little bit more simpler.
 
Having no issues with this installation. Looks like we may have some localized errors. If the people having issues can attempt to put a fresh install without any plugins we can see if it really is the installation that has issues.

Btw I have a ton of plugins and I used the installer to update and not the ZIP. Did not have a single error and have been botting all day without any crash. (just one instance of the bot getting stuck in a tree :3 )

It's the profile you are using that needs updating.
 
Can you once again with the Mixed bot quests and make ini's? has already tested one?a
 
Any news when official [Release] will be dropped? [Test Release] is working great on my end. Have had no issues. Have tested questbot, tyrael and GB2. All working perfect.
 
i can comfirm that dungeonbuddy was also working up until my server went down for maitnence >_>
 
Do we have an ETA for the official release? I don?t want to update all my bots twice, thats everytime a pain in the ass. Copy the plugins, routines etc. Do all the settings again. And that every time when HB needs a patch. A easy function for that would be awesome guys.
 
just copy your normal honorbuddy folder and paste it with a different name, then extract and replace the test build files into the new folder it's not that hard and you keep all your settings
