i keep getting dc with questing it says

We are working on resolving this. The updater fails to notify the user that one of the files it needs to update is in use, and instead quits. That results in a "mixed" version, so some of your files are the new 722 release, while some of them are the old 721 release.

I honestly don't know why you continue with the updater at all. We all know a clean install is the correct way to go, the updater just causes problems day in and day out. While in theory it is nice, execution is not up to scratch. Until it is bulletproof why don't you just leave it out and make people visit the website to get new builds.

Every single support post by the devs on here contains "start with a clean install", but by default you enable people to use a messed up non clean build by providing the updater. 80% of the problems people have with HB are simply solved by a clean install, 30% of the posts on this forum could be avoided with a clean install. You must really like causing yourself and the other devs problems by continuing with the updater.

The updates might not always work, but I'm using it since 710 and have no issues so far... (shush! :)...
 
I noticed a few times bot trying to kill member of the same faction and will follow him around, this was spamed in the log

I seriously do not understand why the updater just not just delete all files that are included with a default installation of honorbuddy. The only things we need to keep are the "Settings" Folder and any custom additions to the default installation (Plugins that aren't normally included etc)
 
when does auto updater going to working properly?
i hate to configure everything everytimes new update came out

Would be nice ... but with all the changes in Plugins and HB Core, its possible that the Settingfiles change too. So in some Situations when HB doesnt work its better to delete the Settingsfolder.

If the Plugin + HB Devs implement a routine to modify the Settingsfile to the latest working Version i would be possible to copy the Settingsfile with every HB release, but i think its impossible. Thats why i setup all my toons from scratch and i dont have any starting hb problem or crashing.
 
Was there a 721 release? And if so where can I find the changelog for it?
 
Dungeon Buddy is not working for AutoRaid - not attacking, full clean install with singular..
 
when are the LFr updates coming i know you guys said you were working on them?
