Yeah, noticed that too today with 716. Ran to corpse, he could release, but in stead just zigzagged and jumped and "stuck" on screen. There was no reason why it could not release. So I pressed Release manually and questing continued fine.
 
Navigation is once again getting far too close to ledges. This results in frequently falling off and dying.
 
Anyone having issues with always attacking yellow mobs? Is this more a CR issue than HB issue?
 
Based on the comment on the previous page about it being Underground... and we should accept it... Underground or not, this program is expensive for what it is as a whole. Honorbuddy ALONE is not a useful tool. It's the botbases, plugins and routines that make it something... That said... It shouldn't be too hard to troubleshoot etc... Since it's just a core to the rest. Especially with multiple devs on it. And organized business like standards in operations... It's sad that multiple versions come out with nothing but bugs. Releasing before fully testing is a crazy idea also, it doesn't help the name or sales when people are talking smack about it because it's broke all the friggin time. Also there are other options. I KNOW I am welcome to those choices. I just support this one the MOST I can... sometimes the development makes me wonder though... HB is just the popular choice.

I can say I pay a LOT of devs who do Routines, plugins and such FOR HB... A LOT of money. MORE than I spent on HB itself. So my money is where my mouth is. I can say when it works... It's awesome. But seriously stop with the CRAP releases. People would rather wait something out with NO functionality than something that is always crap and broke and doesn't work smoothly like it SHOULD as a whole. Again, excluding plugins, routines, botbases that are 3rd party and not shipped with HB.
 
Honorbuddy hasn't worked for me in like a week......

Alls it does is crash on startup, with fresh installs, no plugins, routines or bot bases outside of what comes of a fresh install, WoW repair, Cache folders deleted from both HB folder & WoW folder. this is the first time i've actually felt the need to log in & complain, I've almost been 100% content since i've bought honorbuddy, but this is kind've ridiculous with my friends all telling me theirs work & some telling me they get the same problem as me, same as people on this forum with no explanation, I'm not one to cry first for answers & look up the info later, i always try to search through the forums for a solution & i'm not getting one.. it's frustrating me.

same problem with mine. starts up crashes. no explanation just says windows will look for a solution then i only have the close honorbuddy option.

Edit, im looking for a solution to why mine doesnt work and others does. ill keep everyone posted and let you know what i find.

Edit2: giving up. i cleared my wow cache and WTF folders, im running wow and HB as admin, i did a fresh install twice and i tried repairing the install as well and nothing. HB worked last night. so whatever was done screwed it for me.

Sorry, I am one of HB's biggest critics, .716 is running great for me, it is almost always user error. The key is a clean install, yes, new directory, all plugins from the original .zip file, set everything up from scratch, make sure it runs with singular, .exe in administrator mode. All the things your read about, there are no shortcuts these days, copying anything from an old build and you are asking for trouble. Try disabling all your wow add-on's too, personally I run with 30 add-ons enabled and don't have a problem, some GUI ones cause dramas, your wow needs to be a as clean as possible if you are still having problems.

did all of that AND a clean c++/.net framework. i wiped out my entire .net framework then reinstalled it using the buddywizard. im telling you. NOTHING is working. i found multiple reports of the same problem and have tried everything all the admins have suggested. like i said my HB ran fine last night.

EDIT: and yes im running 716. just to clarify. i also updated my .net and c++ the rest of the way with windows update like buddywizard suggests.
 
just a question, in the day HB had problems running when bartender4 was installed is this still the case?
 
badly need fix on node-idle bug before holidays :rolleyes:

edit: or good workaround if someone found one
 
Thanks devs for the awesome job on the Bot its so nice that you guys take your holidays and fix the bugs for us. No Con Arguments for me against the bots anymore,best bot for Leveling and Gearing an Character.
 
For me these days it helped to FULLY KILL ALL SETTINGS!
Most updates i copy/paste my settings folder + Plugins and so on.
Yesterday i killed all settings and the problems i had were gone.

- Fixed a memory reading issue which was causing wrong Locations being returned for nodes and causing them to be thought as blacklisted nodes. This also fixes zigzagging between nodes caused by node locations being swapped every call (HB-225)

- Fixed an issue where the bot wouldn't work on elevators. (HB-213)

- Fixed an issue where the bot would spam "IndexOutOfRangeException" (HB-218)


say it is in the log file, HB heavy .. help me for solution
 
the routine takes over when bot initiated the combat , so unlikely that it is a routine issue
