Honorbuddy v2.5.11837.752

I'm running my own 5-man dungeon team. When the dungeon is complete, DungeonBuddy won't leave the dungeon. It says "Dungeon is considered complete in 10 seconds. Reason: Completed", but nothing happens, just sits there until it afks out. This happened in every random dungeon, from classic to mop.View attachment 148069
Hi, Tarathiel2, and many thanks for the log.

You are the only one that has reported this problem (so far). As such, we believe there may be something awry in your Honorbuddy installation, but the log does not support our suspicion.

As such, we've opened HB-1383 ("DungeonBuddy recognizing completed dungeons, but not leaving them") against this issue.

cheers,
chinajade

Ahh, so you reckon it's getting stuck while doing that InteractWith. That two minutes seems very exact, like it's perhaps a timeout?

Is this some sort of default timeout on InteractWith, and if so, is there a parameter to alter it? For example could I force it to timeout after 15 seconds instead of two minutes, as a "hack" to make it work?
Hi agan, Wullie,

We just believe the problem has been localized by inspecting the log. We have not investigated the cause of the issue yet. It could be a simple bug in InteractWith, it could be a nasty interaction cause by ProfessionBuddy, or a botch in HBcore's target filtering, or a whole host of other things.

Will just have to wait and see how the report is resolved. If there was a potential work-around, it would've been offered in the original reply.

cheers,
chinajade

Before the WoD patch, each Honorbuddy's CPU usage was 3% to 5% but now it's 8% to 10%. WoW CPU usage is same as before.

Is it normal? Or are you guys just fixing the major bugs / rebuilding core before starting optimizations?
Hi, Cevaps,

We still have a lengthy list of severe bugs to address before we will look at optimizations. I'll put a note to that effect in the second post.

cheers,
chinajade

I havent seen anybody else report this issue, and i've tested in different way's to make sure it wasnt my plugins or my profile, so i've narrowed down to either PB or still possibly my profile.

My issue:
Professionbuddy - When it goes to vendor it opens up to trade with him, sells some stuff then after a bit it starts closing/reopening alot. The only plugins i use are MIR2 (Disabled for this log submitted, and the video) and Logmeout (Nothing to do with selling, so its enabled)
This video below does not coinside with the log, those are 2 seperate instances of the same issue happening.

Some more info:
This issue didnt exist in .750 (The first test version i think that was?). It started as soon as the update came that fixed an issue with vendor selling, so this issue has been present since .751 and up.
This issue doesnt seem to be caused by plugins since i tried without my plugins enabled, and again without them even in the plugins folder.
This issue isnt caused from old HB files as i even tried with completely fresh install of .752 version.
I've noticed on the HB console each time it completes a sale operation (sell whites - complete, sell blues - complete, etc) thats when its also closing the merchant and speaking to him again.

Hi, Jazzman170, and thank you for the very nice write, video, and log!

We believe what your are observing is the new "item selling limit" imposed by the WoWclient. After selling 20 or so items to a vendor, the window must be closed and re-opened, and another round of selling occurs. We have no clue if this is a WoWclient bug, or a 'feature' to prevent a particular kind of exploit, or just a very ugly way to throttle WoWserver load.

Anyways, .750 and prior failed to sell correctly if more than 20 items were involved. What you are observing is the new algorithm to handle selling 20-items-at-a-time to make the WoWclient happy.

We've created HB-1389 ("ProfessionBuddy repeatedly opens and closes the Vendor frame") to confirm this. But, we expect it to be closed as "Not a Bug".

cheers,
chinajade

HB-1383 update: Tried changing the leader character, and it's working if the leader is the tank. If it's the healer or any of the dps, it bugs out. Not sure what's causing it, it's a completely fresh installation with no store downloads. Oh well, it's not that important now. Thanks for your time.
Hi again Tarathiel2, and thanks for the follow up.

We've added your observations to HB-1383.

Hey,

i used a Full clean Version of HonorBuddy and i found a Problem with ProfessionBuddy wich is already fixxed (HB-1307) (https://www.thebuddyforum.com/archives/183718-honorbuddy-v2-5-11819-751-a.html?highlight=HB-1307)

ProffesionBuddy doesn't craft Items :(
"[12:11:57.024 D] PB: Done crafting Glyph of Victorious Throw. Reason: Not enough material."

I've tryed to put the Inks in my Bags but this didn't help.
Hi, PiroxTester, and many thanks for the log.

We've opened HB-1399 ("ProfessionBuddy emit wrong messages due to handler detach failure") against this issue. There appear to be some quirky things in this profile you're running, could you attach or link us to the profile, so we can attach it to the problem report?

cheers,
chinajade

not sure if anyone else has had this problem but at least twice now over the last week, the bot has vendored my last equipped bag, or deleted it or something.
same for me
View attachment 148555

ok, happened again after a few hours of botting. last bag is gone. not sure if deleted or vendored by the bot. heres the log.
I had the same problem too, while using ProfessionBuddy. The Bot is selling his last bag every time to the vendor. Just put your hearthstone (or something other, that doesn't get sold to the vendor) in the last bag. Works for me so far.
Hi, all.

Thanks for that log Medalofwhat! Also, thanks for that tip, LimboMessiah.

We've had great difficulty reproducing the problem since users that report this problem rarely attach logs. We'll hazard a guess that one of your plugins is causing this problem. Perhaps, MrItemRemover2. Try disabling MrItemRemover2 and see if the problem goes away. If it does, you'll have to seek help in the MrItemRemover2 thread.

For now, we are not going to consider this an Honorbuddy bug. We don't have sufficient logs to establish that pattern, and we're not going to waste the senior staff's time chasing a non-issue.

cheers,
chinajade

Ok - here's the updated protected list.

***** IMPORTANT: items that you get for harvesting nodes below its intended skill level were added in, as well as all BoE/unbound containers. Quivers & ammo pouches were not included in the original files, so I did not add them in!!!!! No other changes were made to this file!! *****
Hi, GK2014, and MANY thanks for these improvements.

We've opened HB-1404 ("Updated Protected Items.xml") to have the modifications folded in.

cheers,
chinajade
