If you divide by 100 or 10^-2 you get 1%, hence the wording "percent" as fraction of a hundredth.

Following your logic, dividing the percentage, if you want to get 1%, you would divide by what? 1? x/1 is? aaawww yeah, x.

We could take this talk for a long ride and would have a lot of fun, but what you are doing here is just wrong, we don't wan't to flame you, we just want to show up your mistakes.

To back up my statement, which is a must have today, Engineering student whith great Math grades.

That equation is wrong for calculating 0.1% of a year in hours on so many levels. The calculator is only right when the equation itself is correct

Would one percent then be 100-1? (he actually would be really close to the real answer considering the variance of "real life" )

Wouldnt it have made everyone happier and wouldve been much simpler to just get HB back up without the changed/new bg's or updated singular? Couldve just disabled those for the moment and let us use everything else in the meanwhile.

Why not use your otherwise sensible brains to learn how to play your char to see what it / they basically can

It could be you could learn to play WoW even without help.

To understand everything is not just coming after 5 min. because you just had a small bag of gold in your pocket that you could spend on HB.

But no no it's better to spend all your time trying to come up with strange comment about that it takes time to fit or adapt HB and that you have to wait maybe 24/48 hour
that it works again.

Devs .. must listen to much even if we pay a little gold for what he does, ---> REALLY NICE KIDS ....

Let However, now the people who do this for us, getting the time it takes, so that we can get something that everyone is happy with.

for the record, i dont give 2 shits whether it down or not right now, but the terrible math on this thread HAS TO STOP.

if 365 days = 100%

8760 hours per year (365*24)

99% = 8672.4 hours = 87.6 hours of downtime
99.9% = 8751.24 hours = 8.76 hours of downtime
99.99% = 8759.124 hours = .876 hours of downtime


again, i dont care how much downtime is/was promised, or what service they base it on, i am just thankful that they are working on it. in the meantime, i am going to PLAY wow.
