Hey there

I can see that CLU has support for protection warrior, does that mean that it's actually able to tank properly :)?

Been a member and a user of HB for a while, just never actually tried using it for tanking purposes :P

Ive tanked in cata with CLU + Lazyraider for Paladin and Warrior it works really well. get some macros for mouseover taunting / hands etc and you are good to go!

I will look into that, thanks. Is it able to properly handle AOE tanking?

Yes without a doubt.

Regarding gear, just stick BG buddy on for a few nights. Buy up a one hander and shield then swap all HP for JP and buy all the justice tanking gear and your good for random heroics.

Create macros for taunting etc, and decide if you want CLU to blow your cooldowns, trinkets etc.

I started with it doing everything then slowly turned more and more features off to allow more input from me as I learnt more about tanking.

You will love it!

Now the bot is back i am going to be CLU tanking tonight on my pally see how it goes with the new patch etc

Personally havent tanked with CLU...but i have no doubt it would work wonders...

I have botted as all tank classes thruout cata tho....havent had a single problem with it...all classes all raids...some HC raiding even.....it works :)
 
Hey, bit of a newbie question, but how exactly do I use Honorbuddy for tanking? Like is there a specific profile I have to load before entering any instances? Or do i just join and it automatically handles my rotation?
 
Gaff, just make sure you load up HB with being prot (reload when enter dungeon if you have too..)

I do not like to fully bot as tank, it looks a little suspicious for my taste, so I just throw on lazy raider and just move/dance well i semi afk
 
Thanks for the reply, will definately give it a go. Always struggled to perform a proper rotation whilst trying to control threat, so this will really help. :)
