As the title states, does honorbuddy have multiple character support without the need to close HB and restart it all over again on a new character? I have tried to manually do this but some times singular doesn't kick in and it still says I am playing a hunter when I am on a warlock.

Hi, Savatarge,

We've had a feature request open on this for quite a while, but its very very low priority.

For now, as we've alway stated, you must close and restart Honorbuddy, if your toon leaves the game world.

cheers,
chinajade

I really don't mean to be rude or anything but I would think this is a high priority. If I may, blizzard has many ways to detect people using HB whether it triggers your system or not. I guess regardless it is just a price you pay for botting. But let's get back on topic. The reason I suggested this even tho many others feel this need as well, not only would character swapping without reloading HB would be a time saver but it would be harder for blizzard to detect since blizzard is allowed to scan your pc processes and active ram memory etc. By constantly opening HB and closing it in small time frames [especially for those people with a lot of high level ults just going garrison stuff] is surely bound to trigger multiple red flags especially since blizzard in particular have been fighitng HB for years now so they know what to look at for in terms of name. Which is maybe why you guys should rename HB as well since I personally think you guys with HB do a lot more then just "honor" it is more of a pve thing. But anyway, thanks for the responce.

Your assumptions of how blizzard detects and scans are outdated by a number of years. Allowing the feature you requested would not have the results you think it does.

Your opinion on these matters means nothing. Just because you want it as a high priority, it doesn't mean it should automatically become a high priority for the devs. If taking 10 seconds to reload HB for a different character is a big issue for you, you may want to learn some patience.

And there's absolutely no way HB is going to get renamed. Who's to say that the purpose of the bot may completely change again in the future and the name doesn't quite fit anymore. Renaming brand names hurts as much as it helps matters. Either way, someone will be unhappy that the product's name changed.

While i would not use the exact words ryfto has used, i would agree with the comments.

closing and then re-opening HB for a new character is, at best, an annoyance. if you look at the long list of bugs and feature requests for HB, i would be upset if time was spent on this, personally. i am pretty sure the majority of users here would agree.

Agreed. I also know it is an annoyance. I'd rather other features be updated first.
