I tried searching - but "GUI" is too short for the forum search feature. For the past two updates I have been having these issues with the GUI. Now - I also installed the Deathstalker Ultimate keyboard right before updating - however I uninstalled all that stuff and the issues persisted so I believe they aren't the issue. The buttons all do this, and the text randomly gets really huge/unselectable. I have also deleted my install folder and reinstalled fresh. Also all my drivers are up to date.

That is something I haven't try. Will report what happens. Thanks Tony!

Tony:
I've uninstalled - restarted - reinstalled - restarted .net 4.5 and the issues are still persisting. Any other ideas? Rollback is not an option.

I firstly have to say wow just wow.. that's the most funky error i have ever seen..
So just a question have you tried a repair of .net

Any other ideas Tony? I have since uninstalled - run the dotnet cleanup utility - reinstalled (with a restart after each step), and the issue still exists?

i dont think you will avoid a new OS installation :(

Just an update - incase someone else has this issue. A complete reformat was not an option for me currently - I did do an inplace upgrade (Repair Install - Windows 7 Forums) and it did not solve the issue. I then found Guidelines for troubleshooting graphic issues in WPF applications which led me to Graphics Rendering Registry Settings where I had to create the registry settings
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphics\DisableHWAcceleration
and disabled Hardware Acceleration for WPF applications. This has solved my issue. (please note I have all updated drivers for my graphics card, and it works flawlessly for all other software - nVidia Geforce GTX 560 TI)

Thanks for at least sending me in the right direction Tony! Appreciate all the work you guys give!

Hardware Acceleration. noted.
Thanks for finding the easy fix.
