Honorbuddy for Private TBC Server

Hello.

I bought honorbuddy 8 months ago, and have been happy to use it

But now im playing on a Private server, and really wants to use the bot again

But when i start up the bot, and log in - this happens:




Is the bot not working on private servers?

The server is running TBC - 2.4.3

Honorbuddy does not support private servers. It only works on the most current retail, public realms. By that, I mean it only works on Blizzard supported realms. It has never worked with private servers, and never will. Sorry mate.

but if the latest version is updated to the newest version - dont you have a backup of the old one then?

Or can you recommend a bot for my request?

I don't know of any bot that will work on private servers, and that's because I don't play on private servers. When I do, I play using PQR, which is simply a rotation bot and nothing else. I don't have a link, so you'd have to check google for pqrotation bot.

As for HB, even the old backup versions won't work on private servers. The offsets that the bot runs from will not match up, so the bot won't run. This is intentional because there are far more private servers than there are regular servers, and it's far more difficutl to support a bot that runs on both normal and private servers. Tony, Bossland, and many other admins can give you more detail on this. You just have to ask them.

HB is as safe as it's always been. The only thing I personally feel isn't as safe anymore, and this is due to easier player reporting, is BGBuddy. More players are reporting bots in BGs nowadays than they used to, so it's easier to get banned if you bot BGs while AFK.
