I've never had any issue installing any other programs on this computer and had it for 3 years >< Help?

Hi, Jolts,

Run the tool you find in "Problems with a new install of a Buddy product?" as Windoze admin, and you should be off-and-away.

If not, post back with your log file so we don't have to guess at the problem.

TY I appreciate the swift response. I would have posted the log but my folder didn't contain any...I'll run that tool and post back if it works/doesn't.

I just ran that tool, tried re-opening honor bot still getting the same error, but no logs folder.

Hi again, Jolts,

I've never seen Honorbuddy produce no logs. Are you looking in the HB/Logs directory for them? Did you run that tool as Windoze administrator?

You might read through the Honorbuddy Release Thread, and install the requirements manually. If that doesn't get you going, I'll have to send you to the Honorbuddy Service, or wait for Tony to drop by here.

The fix worked after I used the archived version of it.(honestly, I don't know much about computers so I hadn't tried running the archived version originally) Thanks!

Yeah. Haven't gotten to test the program yet since the servers are down, but it's at least opening up now. I ran the tool once, then a couple programs(one of which was a microsoft 4.0 installation for .net) popped up and that microsoft program seemed to fix the problem.

This is on a new install of version 2.5.6597.518

My older ones that have been updated within HB work Fine.

I was just wanting a clean HB.

edit:Fresh install of Beta works fine.

Im having troubles with Profession buddy, thats why im doing the new installs
