Hello Ive been using HB for awhile now but not recently. I can't leave WOW and HB running for more than 5 minutes on a good day, I get a "Critical Error" from WOW and it force closes and Honorbuddy just continues to run in the background. I've been troubleshooting looking at every forum post similar to mine but it seems like they all get closed or the Admin has a private conversation with the forum poster so I'm just looking for some help. I used to think it was only Dungeon buddy that made me crash but it just happens with dungeonbuddy the quickest.

Im running DX9 in 32 bit mode and i've also tried 64bit. Ive disabled all of my Anti virus, my firewall a couple times, and I've gone into msconfig and disabled all programs that start up with windows. So this means that another program shouldn't be interfering with it.

I've attached the log and a picture of the error.

Please help,
thank you.

Hi, Lordhkaw, and thank you for the log.

Many kudos for the things you've already tried!

This is going to be one of two things...
The first will be an interfering program (that you've already said you've eliminated). These articles will help you double-check this possibility.

We're going to hold off on describing the second possibility because the fix is very ugly.
But, can you please tell us the answer to "Did you UPGRADE to Win10 recently?"

cheers,
chinajade

Update: Ive disabled all ingame addons and the game still force closes after 3-5 minutes but it doesent have a "critical error".

In response to the admins, I'm still running Windows 7 64bit. And the programs I have installed from that list is AMD Radeon Pro (For my video card over clocking), Team viewer, Curse Voice and Team Speak.

Hi again, Lordhkaw,

Win7 is a good answer. :D These means we know for a fact it is an interfering program.

As stated in the article we cited, you may need to remove--rather than simply disable--the offending programs. Programs can and do frequently cause interference even when disabled. Many leave behind stubs or hooks with badly coded fragments that are still run when disabled.

cheers,
chinajade

Alright I'll try it out appreciate it. Really hope its not AMD Radeon that would be killer :/

Okay I Uninstalled Team viewer and Teamspeak.reinstalled a newer version of the AMD Radeon, restarted my computer and made sure my AV was off and voila problem solved. Thank you. feel free to close thread.
