Honorbuddy completely kills computer performance after long sessions

I've been using HB for years, but the problem only started way back in October, and I have tried many things to solve it to no avail... The bot runs fine initially, but then starts slowing the entire computer down at the 1-2 hour mark, and by the 6-8 hour mark it will have rendered the entire computer useless even after closing the bot etc. Any action that you try to do will take 30+ seconds to even register, this includes the simplest of actions like right clicking something! The only thing that returns normal functionality is a system restart which is not ideal, and is getting annoying to have to do after every session.

Computer Specifications:
- Windows 8.1 PRO x64
- Intel Core i7-4770k CPU
- Gigabyte Gforce GTX 770
- Asus Sabertooth Z97 w/ 8GB RAM

Additional possibly relevant info:
- I've noticed at least three other users with the same issue, and one thing we all had in common seemed to be that we had i7-4770k CPUs
- The problem arises no matter what botbase (Combat, Grind, Questing, Ultimate Ashran, BGFarmer) and routine (Singular, TuanHA) is used
- A fresh re-install of the game and bot did not help
- I run 3 displays
- I have an SSD+storage drive config, WoW runs off the normal drive whilst HB runs off SSD
- Even though the computer slugs down completely (after 8+ hour mark) the bot will continue doing what it's supposed to be doing without fault, even at ridiculous frames per second and an unresponsive system.

so if you close honorbuddy while in this "slow" state it still acts slow? if thats the case its not honorbuddy sucking down your CPU. next time it happends open the task manager and figure out whats using your resources.
