Hi,
Newbie1991,
If you are afraid of getting banned, you should not buy ANY bot.
There are a number of things that can cause you to get banned quickly...
- Participating in risky behaviors--e.g., excessive farming (the current rage is Felblight), botting too long in each session, farming certain dungeons or areas, farming certain PvP battlegrounds, using the exact same route to harvest for hours on end with no variance, etc.
- Becoming the target of a player report (or generating one yourself--Bliz always investigates both parties)
- Selling gold (and apparently the new time tokens) is a great way to get your account banned very quickly.
ALL botters (of any botting product) WILL eventually be banned. This is pretty much guaranteed. Most botters just start another account and go again.
- Some botters seem to get put on a 'watch list', and after getting banned a few times, they can't even create a new account without having it banned within a few hours.
- The vast majority of Honorbuddy users manage to go a long time (years) before getting banned. But, their day is coming too.
Getting banned is simply a fact of botting life. If you're not prepared for it, you simply shouldn't bot.
On the flip-side, you should take the "banned" reports with a grain of salt...
They should by no means be ignored. But, people that are banned tend to be irate and want to go somewhere and vent. Keep in mind that people in this mindset might not be telling the whole story. Other bots may have been in use, or they may have participated in risky behavior, or simply gotten careless. Botting is not a "click and walk-away" activity, if you value your account. (I.e., situations like "stuck on a landscape decoration for hours" will happen, combat routines or a bad combination of plugins will glitch, etc).
One other thing about "ban reports"...
Bliz does not apply bans immediately. Instead, they mark an account for banning, save them for a while, then do it in a 'wave'. Their goal is a shock-and-awe factor of "ohmigosh, the bot is detected." Their technique works
extremely well against the less experienced members of our Community. Seasoned members see the technique for what it is, evaluate the state of affairs, and usually keep going.
cheers & much success with your decision,
chinajade
