i think i just downloaded another patch! could it be there was a second ninja patch a few minutes ago??
 
New BETA version is available to download, run your your older beta HB and you will get prompted.

Love - just to be clear. Are you talking after the launcher DL's the file and it says ready to play or from the wow.exe.

Just trying to confirm.

Start wow.exe
Get the "nice try - we're updating you anyway"
Let it do it's thing
Delete the fresh file in the updates folder BEFORE you enter?

Little confused how this works - and if it does, could definately be handy!

Yeah, when there's a ninja patch it puts a new file(named like wow-0-newpatchnumhere-win-final.mpq), just delete it(and leave the previous ones there) and press play.

Could also check your Data folder and make sure it didn't copy over the wow-update-base-newpatchnumhere.mpq file already.

Verify version at login screen.

Wont update again until next ninja patch or you run the launcher, subsequent wow.exe executions will directly load the game.

.179 seems to be working nice and fixed the crash errors in durotar i had :)

seems to try to loot mobs twice and blacklists them after a while

?dit: Apparently this only happens when you have a quest where you have to loot the mobs for an item - for me it happend while doing this quest.

Just a heads up - post maintence, "ninja" patch / PvP in the US - build 16685

Tho - servers are not up yet - eta 1:00 pm
