Honorbuddy Bans Statement

10 year old accounts

I am very upset by this. I am disabled, and on SSI. WoW was a reasonably cheap way for me to enjoy socializing again. Honorbuddy allowed me to play with less pain, and boredom of trying to run around grinding stuff. One of my biggest issues with WoW is the endless grinding. I haven't used Honorbuddy in a long time too!! HOW did they know I ever used it? I don't understand this.

As for your 7 accounts, GM's are not stupid, they ban after investigation.
 
Don't forget to cancel your subscriptions! don't pay them a dollar more than you have for the 10+ years of gaming.

There is no way it was reports that got me banned. I avoid other people, I watch the account 100% of the time, and I do not overkill on anything, i.e., gold farming, auctions, gathering, etc.

What I did notice that was different in the last month or so was that the game was taking a very long time to log out or shut down. I never used a relogger.
 
Just appealed so we'll see the results. Not sure if good news but they are taking their time to respond while others got immediate responses.

I said "yea I made a bad, soz... 6 months is a long time... Kiiiinda wanted to play more"

Although in nicer words to appeal better. No harm in that since I saw an appeal did work in some rare cases.

HonorBuddy made it much nicer to play with the combat rotations. I was going to write a few of my own and test from the safety of my garrison. I knew the risks so the 6 month suspension, while it sucks, doesn't make me very upset. I see people who claim to be careful and people saying their 50 accounts got the hammer and everything in between. Yes it sucks, but we knew the risks. I'm a bit more intimidated as to how I'm going to approach my guild depending on the extent of the suspension. 72 hours? Yea I was taking a break. 6 months and that blue post?

...ummmm.... yeeeeaaaaa about that....
 
I've been playing WoW since Christmas 2005, and this was my first ban. I'm not sad though, the current game was trash and HB made all the grinding bearable. I'm not returning to WoW after my 6 month ban. Gentleman, it's been an honor.

It was definitely detected because I only use combat routine on a non afk bot base. Thanks for the hard work buddy team and making a tireless grind fun again. Mine was a 7 year account that got banned. But no biggie. I will just wait for bot to go active again and play then.
 
Did you pay with a credit card ? if so demand the money back since they dont deliver the product you bought (From the creditcard company) :) Worked with paypal for some, havent tried it since I wasnt smart and used paypal or a creditcard.
 
Most of the time you wont have to cancel subs. I was alerted that I was banned because my PayPal agreements with Blizzard were cancelled. But token/longer term prepaid users got screwed.

It wouldn't let me 'cancel' however, I have deleted my credit card info. We'll see how this plays out.
 
Well.. My appeal got flat out rejected..

They didn't even respond, they just closed the case lol.
 
HonorBuddy was detected for the first time ever..... I guess Blizzard dont give a fuck about WoW no more. I would love to see their stats on how many players got banned. 7 million down to 5 million :P THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER BEEN BANNED HB GOT DETECTED :( RIP and FUCK YOU BLIZZARD Never playing WoW again.,
 
I bot all the time and didn't get banned...Assuming just lucky but really wishing HB was online...want to keep on botting lol
 
The sad thing is, all that chinese botters aren't banned (ofc they play manually (ok, at least most of them)) even if you reported them over and over again...
 
Been botting for a year, no issues with players/detection. Always did it for levelling- those two out of the four on the bnet acct were banned. Was able to log into the two inactive (starter ed) ones no problem. Sad-face. But always knowing there was a chance made it a bit exciting.

Yep but sometimes you get unlucky! I always said to my wife if I ever get banned Im done with wow forever
