Question to all my fellow botters, how many of you that were banned were on during any of the tripwire events? If you were on for more then one, were you banned? If not are you banned? I theoirze that bliizz just looks at the tripwire logs to see how many people logged off as soon as a "change" to the warden was implemented. They then replicate the test and keep notes, and eventually determine what are to be considered the bots. This is an investigation of sorts that has been going on for months to be able to ban this many people at one specific time. Think about it.

I missed any and all tripwire events, I usually just ran enyo and my favorite CR movement by hand and following Dugis Quest addon, however I also have had SHORT times where i farmed Ashran with a paid bot and thats it!

BAM 2 Perma Banned , probably becasue I used a paid service years ago before i got wise and had a 3 day susupension


Sadly I doubt I will use HB again, It seems to be the only bot they were targeting

It has absolutely nothing to do with the tokens. Blizz even said on friday that tokens have had barely affected subscription numbers.

You do realize that not only HB were affected this ban wave many other scripters were also caught not only that but the fact they have started hitting hard on people who purchase gold from wow sites, this leads me to believe they are trying hard to kill farmers/gold sellers any potential risk that will effect their sales from the blizzard store, they have a product to sell it is as simple as that and why on earth would that have anything to do with subs lol, when they just suspended people for 6 months...

I sure do. Have ran dozens of accounts over the years and the majority were banned by association not active use. Not to mention this has been hashed and rehashed about a million times.

Why do you think someone can buy a new account, start botting, and get pinched within hours. IP flagging ofc.

In case you still have trouble abstaining from swinging - why do you think VPN users get nailed? Because blizzard targets known IPs on most of the popular vpns.

Trust me - when I run into folks such as yourself (no offense) I could care less about convincing you. hell if this doesn't nothing will. Bot your heart out. Use all the same payment info. They don't even check I swear!

I guess I am very very very lucky the last 5 years same IP same Bnet same pc no ban not even 1 untill honorbuddy got detected. Along with my friends who have well over 40 accounts 20 running at a time the max bans they ever had was 3-4 and they where only temp while running 24/7 ..... I guess you are saying if someone who did not bot at all on that new account same IP they will get banned in a few hours? lol bullshit Give me all the info you have on this and maybe I wont take you for a grain of salt because anyone can talk shit on the internet

Not really safe, I know people's accounts that they havent had active before Jan get banned. Blizzard was studying HB for months when WOD came out.

Since WOD has been out I have probably botted more so leveling toons over night farming bgs by day, my account is still untouched

Anyone else find it interesting that all the new stuff in 6.2 gear wise to catch up cost either apexis crystals or oh look at that! a stupifying amount of gold...? kind of ironic, "buy gold er... i mean wow tokens from us!" bans all gold farmers and makes the game extremely gold driven.

Gold -> Apexis epics = Real money -> Apexis epics = Even more P2W.

you are just putting this together now? Most people here (whether they said it or not) seen the token as something that put a huge target on HB.

It could be possible we are flagged and they use our accounts to monitor I would just bot with a sharp eye no afking away from keyboard for a while. I noticed they were trying to detect a few other bots also, one recently came up with warning saying it was detected then shut it's self down.

Yeah I only used enyo and a cr a few hours a day on sat/sun, no afk.. I did notice a couple of weekends ago that my hb window had something flash in corner of my eye but I didnt catch what it was, then game shut down..but I cant tell you that I think it was any kind of detection as at the time i was also having random fps issues and lag spikes and thought something in BRF had stuffed me up
