HonorBuddy Auto Closing
A last ditch effort to not finding a solution in the forums for my problem is posting this here. Some came close to what I'm experiencing but the re-created attempts to correct it as instructed by others failed. As the title states, when I run Honorbuddy.Launcher as requested by the bot itself I wait for the game open then I put my key in and click 'Login' but HonorBuddy will only start reading for a moment then simply close itself out.

I tried w/ dx 11 and dx9 and it doesnt work..

Any idea?

Tripwire just went active so HB will not load anymore, maybe thats your problem. Mine just closed

Yeah tripwire just got activated, hopefully it's a false alarm.

uhhh whats happening here...

tripwire!

It means a banwave is happening and the devs used a saftey feature to stop all bots to save some of your accounts. You will see a staff post shortly most likely

[4:52:46:506] Tripwire activated. Shutting down honorbuddy
[4:52:47:311] [PID: 2316] Tripwire is active. Terminating monitor.
[4:52:47:561] All monitors are terminated.

Tripwire is protection for HB, so we not get detected by blizz anti cheat software Warden

That scared me, because i was working on my bot and im li ke.. OH wow it excited my wow.. wew thank you HB dev team! Saved my again!

been botting nearly 2 years and never seen this... does it usually take long for an update/resolution?

Blizzard just updated their warden, you will have to wait for a new update for honorbuddy, might take some time.

yesterday my wow closed and when I went to restart it said update.

it took ages to get in, and I could see no update applied, but it definitely said it.

I ran all the wows, 32 64 etc and they all had the same version number as before..

with trip wire just going off its a bit of a worry

let me know when its safe to come out from down under :D

Some really poor choices of words going on here....

First tripwire activates when it detects something that could be a potential problem NOT when there is a banwave.

Let's understand what a BANWAVE is and isn't...

A Banwave is a mass detection which HAS ALREADY LEAD to massive bans and by massive we are not speaking on 10-20 bots going down we are talking HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of bots being banned. Now as we sit here NO ONE HAS BEEN BANNED so it can in no way be called a BANWAVE. Tripwire activates to PREVENT BANWAVES.

So if you were botting and the bot stopped there is a good chance you were protected from anything harmful. There is obviously some chance that the "item" which caused the tripwire to activate to have detected someone or some bot(s) but this is not guaranteed either. There is also a great chance that this is also a false alarm which happens from time to time but not frequently.

So....my suggestion is to sit and wait until we hear from admins...There is no need to panic. This is not an IMMINENT BANWAVE as some have said. This is PROTECTION FROM A "POTENTIAL" BANWAVE.

Sorry for CAPS but some people are panic driven and need to be set straight. I have been in this business 6 maybe 7 years now and have seen countless tripwires activated and only maybe 10% to 15% represent genuine attacks. So CHILL....

Let's see what's happening....Mods in your hands....

wow server loads probably just dropped by 20%
I'd say 40%+ of the accounts with a subscription to WOW use a bot to either grind bgs, gold/mats, or use CRs for PvE. So yeah. A huge portion of accounts just went offline.

lol blizzard just WHAT ? why 40% wow accounts suddenly stopped after we did some new warden here lol
wow i was in raid try to heal and dont know even what to press lol :( without HB im SUCK

I would guess a couple days or so... Depends alot on how much code that they must deal with. Normally it never go over a week. Better safe than sry. Play manually for now. :)
