Honorbuddy 2.0 - Navmesh and Questing Release Schedule

I asume the quests that involve alot of actions will be on the "blacklist" thus we'll have to make a huge list of quest NOT to be done...as stated somewhere in this thread.
 
Does it say also for the quests where you have to kill a mob and use a especific item, which mob and which item it needs to use? Also if the item should be used with the mob aliver or in it?s corpse?

I went to that problem when i was thinking about a quest plugin for hb1.

Yup. Proof of that is when you highlight a mob for a quest, it gives a reading of which quest its for and the quantity you have vs the quantity you need.
 
do you still continue developing updates for gb, when a gb plugin is released for hb?
 
So if i get this right.. profiles will literally just be.
example human area.
Hotspot center of Northshire abbey place.
Set level to 6.
At 6 Move to hotspot at goldshire..
Set level to 10.
At 10 move to hotspot in westfall..
Ect..

Or am i wrong about that?
I assume there will be a demo/test profile that comes with HB2 then?

I can see escort quests being a pain though?

Probably just have to add something that says If.OnEscortQuest { staywithin20yofescort }.

Not sure yet.

What if I just want to go to a specific place. Can I tell the bot to go to 50,50 Elwynn Forest and it will go there automatically from Stormwind City? Or will you need some special coordinate that you can't get unless you're standing in that spot and press 'My Position'?

Also, will the bot make use of flight masters?
 
I saw the question asked and somewhat answered but not confirmed.... If we own HB and GB lifetime will we still have to pay for the GB plugin on HB? or will we have full access to it when it is available?

PS...all these changes sound awesome....take your time and get it right imo. :)

You'll have full access to it with your current lifetime (to the best of my knowledge).

You'll have to give it a full x/y/z (like a hotspot is now), the regular x/y coords ingame are zone-specific.

There may be a way to convert them, but I don't know it off the top of my head. MaiN would know.

Who knows, maybe in future a plugin or something that you input an npc name, hit go, and it walks to it?
Mesh is pre made so all paths are there.

So many possibilities!

It is *possible*, but if I were to make that, it would be in the form of a plugin.

You cant translate xy to full xyz due to the Z value is constantly changing it is how far you are above or below sealevel
Yes you can. For instance we check the mesh at X and Y in HB to find the height of the mesh, or I could also use my terrain parser I wrote for the navigation to find the terrain height at X and Y. It's nothing hard.
