Thanks for the reports about AVs going off.

Sadly, we don't know why the AVs would pick HB up as a malicious program. (We'd never include anything malicious in our software)

On a side note; since we don't have access to submit files to every anti-virus software provider, if you're willing to submit the file to your AV provider, and explain that it is in fact, not a security risk, they should update their heuristics to solve the issue.

As a temporary fix; I can only suggest to turn off your AV while using HB. (There's no way for us to work around the issue unfortunately.)

Think its really bad advice to turn off your AV for any period of time. Just add an exception for the HB folder or even just the .exe

yes i am running the Party leader with the leaderplugin and the follower in partybot. i do have the leader in partybot also. am i not suppose to have leader also in partybot?

i'm using norton and the Sonar is what picks it up. so i just disabled that and 4075 works. but i'll submit something to them as you said

My GB2 is stuck on Initializing Flight Paths. been working fine all day, but now it's just getting stuck on that everytime i start it. been using newest version and tried to downgrade to 4066 but didn't work. Using some of tonys profiles for twilight highlands if that's to any help. last message i get before stuck is: [Gatherbuddy v2.0.0.557]:There is no repair vendor in current profile. GB2 will fail to repair items.

Many AV programs have the option to just whitelist buddyprograms.
Judging on what mine said, you get caught trying to execute stuff in the name of other applications. Behaviour detection or whatever that was called.
I'll submit both exe files as false-detection, let's see what they will do
