Holy Shotgun

I've noticed that when I use the holy shotgun build and there is 1 trash mob left(sometimes 2-3), my character would often walk up to the mob and start auto attacking(even when I'm full on wrath) if it's too close ( Sometimes it does Heaven's fury when the mob is a bit further away). Does anyone know a fix for this? I have Heaven's Fury AoE set to 1 and it's still not working.

and when the crusader opens a Chest, it does not attack ... only with this spec Holy shotgun (heaven's fury)
