thought it was odd , it said server maintenance . when I went to log in , kicked me out updated , said downloading patch 1.06 .

2 bugfixes, rumor from fansites is that it fixed a duping exploit

Fixed an issue that allowed players to bypass the one-second trade timer when exchanging items via the Trade window
Fixed an issue that caused the same item to occasionally drop for players using Threatening Shout with the Grim Harvest rune

Giving such a small patch a 1.0.x name seems to go against their versioning standards, not sure what's up with that.

Seems they will be testing some new battlenet communication and authentication options (found on official diablo blog).
Let's hope it won't have an impact on reloggers; mb it would be better not to use reloggers in the meantime ?!

Yep already multiple reports of ban hammers being swung.

I think what they are hinting at is they IMPLEMENTED changes into the client, but they are INACTIVE, and overtime after INTERNAL testing, they will just flip a switch and will be active....

Client changes without any gameplay enhancements always worry me.

Demon buddy keeps crashing when i tried it this afternoon. looks like they implemented changes that affect the bot hopefully I dont get banned.

Good thing about this patch is its gonna break the *****ed bots... at least until a new ***** is released.

Lol, this is how Blizz finds out if we're botting, OHNOES.

Relax nerds, the bot will be fixed soon. This happens almost every patch. Something gets changed, DB has to also make a change.
