This thought just occured to me, so I thought I'd share it with you all to see your opinion.

First I will point out that I have great respect for the devs work on this product, but ......

Many of the beta/stable releases lately have had a number of bugs/issues for the casual botter. Though many of us like to contribute to the project, most of the time we want to just start our bots and leave them to run. Before the "HB2" and "HB questing" this was possible, but now, I find I cannot and I have seen many posts that say similar comments.

I understand that this is currently a time for development and feedback to improve HB, but during this time there are many people that are getting fraustrated with what is essentially supposed to be an automated system.

Which lead me to the following thought :

If the (casual/general) userbase of HB became a little delusioned with the product. What would happen if a large scale software detection were to occur?

I suspect that the userbase would drop quite substancially

I feel that in it's self would be enough to tempt HB to keep some level of stability for the userbase.

The solution to this, I feel, would be to have an existing version of HB that has been tried and tested, left available for the userbase. This way, if you became fraustrated by the bugs/issues with some of the stable/beta releases, there would at least be something to fall back to until all the bugs have been ironed out.

I know that 1925stable grind works ok, but there is bad pvp problems and also some class issues. Where as with 1333 I could grind, pvp, mail, lvl etc. Which was what the bot offered me when I bought it.

Please don't think I write this as a flame. I only think that to leave an existing working product available whilst in beta phase for the next product would save a lot of pain for the casual botter.

I'm leveling several characters in AV right now. Please tell me the problem you are having? I've been getting over 150k xp per hour in the 50s.

yea My level 75 is getting 290k xp a hr this weekend. Woot, Been using mixed with him since he hit 60 a few days ago.

I tried to delete my post fast enough.. I figured it out. It was under the new bot settings tab.

Perhaps the reason why the Dev's don't let us use the honorbuddy(s) before 1.9.25/HB2/HB questing ect. is because they have not been updated for the most recent patches, and already have enough on their plate. Just as well, people will be complaining about the earlier HB's bugs and what not as well, and the Dev's can only handle so much at once.

Really?? The av bots seem choppy. Also it does not att players really.

Thank you for your reply, and I appologise for not being specific enough.

I am not complaining about any specific version/build of HB.

Following are my experiences :

I bought HB to grind/pvp my chars to 80 'n use gather buddy to earn some gold. I don't sell gold anymore as its not worth it. But I am currently making a main. With that said I don't want to use my main to test beta bots that may well cause me to get banned. Yes I do have other accounts that I could use, but atm the main is my intention.

I know the rules, I won't cry if it gets banned.

I am happy to participate in beta projects, but I was supprised when the fully functional HB was no longer supported and HB2/etc took over in beta?

This is in no way a slate of the incredible progress HB has made in the last few months.

Again I'd like to stress that I fully respect the devs, mods and the community here(best I've seen in a while)

You can still use HB 1.333, it's just in the archives. So I don't understand what the big deal is. If you think it works better for you, than use it.

You haven't said what problem you are having with the Stable release.

Sorry but I don't have logs atm for the issues I've experienced so I guess this post will be somewhat fruitless but netherless :

targeting pvp (we have all seen this and seems better in beta 4)
DK wont eat or rest ever
standard druid cc issues (bear form when > 2 mobs)
plugins fall over with each build = therefor plugin devs intermitent upgrades

off the top, I cannot think of them all

I understand that questing is the new big thing, but core functionality is not so good atm.

I will not walk away, and am willing to wait, but I think the userbase is not there to bug report

As far as I am aware.. HB 1.333 is the only version that is not in beta, and it still works just fine. So if your not interested in using HB2 in beta form, just use 1.333.

Honorbuddy and Gatherbuddy will never fall unless Blizzard totally shuts them down. Knock on wood.

19 levels so far...but all done by hand... /flex

So far I've gone from 64-75 in AV on my Warrior. I watched him for a few games, he never got stuck at all and looked ok to me so now he's just been running nonstop except when I stop him to buy a piece of lvl 80 pvp gear. I would say the bot is working great on my end. I havent even received a single whisper in my logs from anyone that would tell me that they know what Im doing.

Cool story bro

you do realise post count means jack shit right?

ive seen you numerous of times spamming random shit over the forums to overtake znuffle or wtf his name is on the Top 10 Posters of this month, I gradually & gradually get more and more amused everytime i see you postin' crap to make your e-peen bigger.

please stop before it gets out of hand laughter wise.

/cheers.
