hmm gold prices should go up

Lol, no. There are less than 200 accounts banned because of botting, do you really think this affected the botting community? I know I am still botting 24/7 (for the time being), and I know many people who are still botting. There are still way more pleased bot users, than unhappy banned ones. The RMAH isn't jumping like it was, but it's still a decent source of making cash if you are still finding decent items.

If you read the ban wave theory crafting thread, you will notice the OP says it's not a wave unless it's 1000+ people. We are nowhere near that mark, and to be honest, probably won't get to that point.

There are other bots besides Demonbuddy, that people cannot purchase. Bots that genius people have created that won't get caught, haven't even been suspected. Hundreds of thousands of different scripted profiles, and many hacks, exploits, bugs, and glitches that we don't know.

The value of gold is dead. This game is pretty much dead too. If you enjoy it personally at all, I suggest you continue playing like you are. I enjoy botting, and competing with the previous day's botted amounts. Pretty much sums up the game for me.

Good luck with gold prices going up though, not even something people should be looking forward to at all.

What we need to look forward to is the development team putting a bit of work into the bot. Seeing more Demonbuddy subscribers bitching about the quality of their bot/profiles/plugins, than I've seen threads about bans.....just imho. :D
 
thats true.. but just saying coz i see gold being spammed at $1.9 now at player acutions instead of $1.4.. dont really care whether it goes up or down coz i dont sell gold or buy.
 
Gold prices have been fluctuating between 1-2 dollars for weeks. Granted, it was getting to a lower 1.25-1.50ish, but still. If it stays at 1.50 for long I will be surprised. Good thing to notice either way.

This thread has a dangerously low amount of factual information. This ban is not based on bot signature (notice the multiple ban reports across all bot software), so that means that private builds are also getting the hammer.

The gold price has gone up, retail on high google sites to 1.3-1.8 from 1.1-1.4 /m US SC. The supply price reflects a similar price increase from $.7 to $1 as well.


We also have no idea how many bans actually occurred, I lost 3 accounts and I didn't bother posting about it, it's part of the game. If anything was to be called a banwave, this would be it.

You have NO idea how many accounts got hit.
Did you check every single forum that 100% of botters visit? Do you think ownedcore blizzhacker (edgeofnowhere) this forum are the only places where botters post about bans?
Did you check whether the same person has posted on multiple forums? Did you check their IP/Account Name to see if some ban reports come from the same people?

It could be 10 bans or 10,000 bans. You will never ever even be close to being in the right "ball park" as far as # of banned accounts go.
 
assuming only half the ppl actually bother to post that they get banned... even less.. the amount of ppl banned is probably alot... seeing as private scripters are being banned too.. they wouldnt post anywhere that they got banned
 
Not even close to a banwave. If this was a banwave, the forum would have a lot more people on it. Same goes for Ownedcore, Blizzhacks, etc. None of those forums are jumping with banwave attention.

But, I am not a dumbass, and know the difference in selective banning, and a banwave.
 
What percentage of people actually come to the forum to let us know they've been banned even? For every banned botter we hear about, there are potentially 100 more banned that we didn't hear about. Hold on to your ankles everyone.

IMO we should at least x10 the amt of people banned. From experience, most people will not post that they got banned on forums.
 
If it was a banwave, everyone here would be banned. banwaves happen when there is a software detection. this is not a ban wave. this is blizzard's anti botting team going to work investigating accounts that are flagged for one reason or another (NOBODY KNOWS WHY​) ..

It's 100K = $0.25 if it ever goes online. Could end up like "Exquisite Essence" where no one buys them.
